A massive Thank You to the crew at Kinver Fire Station @StaffsFire who hosted a practical day for some of our first and second year students yesterday. A great experience with lots of happy faces on our side. Much learnt and some new friends made. #fire

Thank you! I had one of the best times studying this course! I highly recommend it to anyone working or looking to work in the fire sector! 🔥 I really enjoyed writing this piece. It really opened my eyes to the dangers of these devices.

This was the aftermath of a fire at a student accommodation block in #AveryHill caused by a toaster placed on its side to make cheese on toast. Please don't do this - only use electrical products for their designated use orlo.uk/239Tx © @laurabaden

When a student asks a question we are always happy to answer. All of our team are retired Fire Officers, many with experience in specialist fields. We use Case Studies and Personal Experience to add that extra dimension to the classroom #FireTraining #Fire #FireCadets
On the Fire Dynamics Module one of the Students asked the question Do Saunas Catch Fire. We had been talking about pyrolisation and the long term affect of applied elevated heat.
What better way of explaining than showing a case study. #Fire #FireCadets #FireTraining #University

Watching the BBC TV series The Real CSI and seeing people I worked with, then seeing a new CSI who I taught at college when she was 17, made me feel quite proud to have been part of her journey. – at Halesowen, England
