Today I finally finished my treatment. A GP visit in Feb 2023 led to 2 surgeries, chemotherapy and radiotherapy. Amazing care from my local GP, @NUHSurgery @NUHRadiology @NUH_Respiratory @Rushcliffe_PCN @NUHPrehab @nuhcolorectal @Notts_ICS @nottmhospitals I am truly grateful!

Yesterday I had my final surgery following a year of investigations and treatments. thank you the amazing staff @nottmhospitals from the admissions unit to the breast surgery team and all the staff on Harvey 2. Loved my recovery chat with nurse Megan! Here’s to a healthy summer!

1 year on from being first admitted to hospital I get to wake up to this view! After treatment for a pulmonary embolism, iron infusions, surgery for bowel cancer and adjuvant chemotherapy, I’ve finally been discharged from oncology. Time to get my life back! Thank you everyone!

Today I received a letter following a hospital appointment on 21st August. the appointment was very comprehensive and helpful. My care team received it ‘epostable’ on 22nd! Not sure how many times I need to say ‘I use the app’ please post there! I’ve opted out of paper!
