Which information is incorrect?
Did police forcibly cut the electric connection at CR Park Durga Puja?
I called your SHO and he said he does not know the officially notified cut-off time. Is it a joke?
If permitted time is 12 AM, why were Puja Committee members harassed and humiliated before that cut-off?
If official time is 10 pm, why did BJP-backed Ramlila continue beyond 12 am?
Govt cannot send paramilitary force into Puja Pandal to heckle organisers.
Clarification: Recent claims regarding the CR Park Durga Puja pandal are incorrect.
Police intervention is only to ensure court rules on noise pollution. The organisers kept playing loud music past the permitted time, despite agreeing to the rules in earlier meetings.
Delhi Police is committed to safe festivities for all. We urge everyone to cooperate for peaceful and safe festivities.

IMPORTANT: the judicial custody of Ashutosh Ranka and Saurav Das extended by two days. Delhi Police wanted 5 days because of fear of protest call during festive season. Beyond ABSURD. 7 days custody needed for violating prohibitory orders? This is designed only to instil fear in young hearts and minds but may have just the opposite effect. 🙏

Delhi Police officers are harassing the Bengali community and CR Park Durga Puja Committees like never before.
This community is one of the most decent and well-educated sections of Delhi. When the Delhi Govt talks about 24x7 businesses and shops, and most Ram-leelas are allowed past midnight, why the stepmotherly treatment for the Bengali community?
Yesterday, police constables barged into the B Block Durga Puja pandal and forcibly cut the electrical connections, damaging their equipment. This is not done.

We have consulted Mr. Kapil Sibal. If Ashu and Saurav are not released by tomorrow, we will pursue legal action against all those who deliberately ensured that they continue to be in illegal custody especially when they have not committed nor charged with any offence.
The deliberate use of delaying tactics to keep them behind bars cannot go unchallenged. Those responsible will be held accountable.

वह नोएडा में नई आई थीं, उन्हें सड़क पर कोई ऐसा 'नो-पार्किंग ज़ोन' साइनबोर्ड नहीं दिखा,
वहां पहले से ही दर्जनों गाड़ियाँ खड़ी थीं, उन्होंने वहां एक व्यक्ति से पूछा कि क्या यहां गाड़ी पार्क कर सकते है,
उसने लापरवाही से कहा, जब 100 गाड़ियाँ खड़ी हैं, तो एक और खड़ी होने से क्या फर्क पड़ेगा, जो संभवतः इस गिरोह का लगा,
जब वह अपना काम खत्म करके वापस लौटीं, तो उनकी कार वहां से गायब थी,
उन्हें लगा कि कार चोरी हो गई है, जिससे वह बुरी तरह घबरा गईं,

Delhi Police has a weird habit.
First, they detain you and deny you access to lawyers the entire time. They don’t tell you or anyone where you are being taken to.
Then, at 3:30 in the morning, they suddenly show up with arrest papers and finally call your lawyer at 4 AM!
This has happened to me twice now. Ye 3:30 AM ko aisa kaunsa shubh muhurat hota hai, Delhi Police?

पंजाब में नशे का कारोबार फल-फूल रहा है, संगठित अपराध का खतरा बढ़ रहा है और नशे के खिलाफ आवाज उठाने वालों की सुरक्षा पर सवाल खड़े हो रहे हैं।
भगवंत मान जी, पंजाब की जनता को प्रचार नहीं, जवाब, घोषणाएँ नहीं, परिणाम, नशे के नेटवर्क पर निर्णायक प्रहार और अपराधियों को मिलने वाले किसी भी राजनीतिक संरक्षण की निष्पक्ष जाँच चाहिए।
