This week, Dr. Byers offered to walk along side me as @Russlmnop and I figure out why Dougie is tired, and god damn it of that did not make me cry later. Thank you Doc. So grateful for your friendship. #SorryForAllTheSwearing
Dougie also has an abdominal ultrasound scheduled this week with Dr. Salwei, Omaha’s veterinary radiologist 🖤🤍🖤 (heart color because her family is the only Border Collie owning family I know who also has a crisping sheep herd to herd as it should be)
The lab work that is now pending is an ionized calcium to see if the calcium is truly high #IKnowItIsGodDamnIt and a parathyroid hormone level #IAlmostNeverThinkAboutThoseTinyGuys and a parathyroid related value that can help assess cancer probability #SevenYearGolden
Doug’s calcium is a little high 😢, and survey thoracic and abdominal radiorgraphs show mild lyric lesions in the cartilage portion of some of his ribs. Incidental - I shoulda been looking for them but wasn’t. But I did see them #GoodJobMe
Urinalysis showed a slight decrease in urine concentration, and blood work showed a mild decrease in all 3 bone marrow originating blood lines - red blood cells, white blood cells and platelets.
