Forty years since the performance by Talk Talk which inspired the Live at Montreux 1986 DVD.
On 11th July 1986, Talk Talk performed at the Montreux Jazz Festival as part of a tour after the publication of their The Colour of Spring album.

Today is Ascension Day.
It is also the name of the second song on Talk Talk's finale album Laughing Stock. Have heard many mention track three as their personal favourite. My view? I evolve between one of the first three songs, so easier to listen to all!

I never tire of listening to 'The Colour of Spring' album by Talk Talk. The fourth song on the only eight song album, feels like it was written on a cool pre-Easter 1985 morning of possibilities beyond a natural awakening
