If you pay @OleMissSports $25,000 to be treated like a VIP, then you damn sure better not wear something with Colonel Reb on it

Alright I have the funniest stat of all time so I will go public for this one.
India has 41 Olympic medals total in their entire history. They have precisely zero medals from the Winter Olympics.
BUT at the same time India has over 1400 medals in the Special Olympics.

🚨 Lane Kiffin just went live on Twitch to show off that he's also been building something in Minecraft.
I guess Mike Tomlin isn't the only coach doing this???
What the hell...

We all know you're not going to take endless welfare away from brown people.
We know this because you aren't even willing to criticize them in your ads, much less actually stop feeding them.
No, you're going to find a few White people dotted here and there in trailer parks, some disabled vets, and six guys who applied for medicare when they were between menial gig economy jobs.
Then you will strike them from the rolls and do a victory dance.
Why? Because you are the Containment Right. Your function is to make sure that anyone who wants actual change has no one to vote for.

We're not doing this anymore. You're only using young White men as a punching bag because you're too afraid to depict who actually abuses welfare. The only rational response for us if we want this discrimination to stop is we need to be more of a problem for you than the people who would cry racism if you portrayed the problem accurately.
Clearly you need to learn some lessons.

This image is the single best expression of the sentiment of Ole Miss v LSU and, no surprise, it doesn’t appear anywhere in ESPN’s broadcast. It had to come from a sideline photographer.
I think it’s time to have a conversation on ESPN’s production incompetence.
In just the last 2 weeks they have:
• generated a national controversy for Texas, and—outside of Laura Rutledge going out of her way to accept accountability on behalf of the people behind the scenes—have totally shirked responsibility and allowed Sark to take all the heat.
• took the most emotionally charged matchup in recent memory and completely failed to show any of the subtle poignant moments between Kiffin and Ole Miss players/coaches in a broadcast that should have been built entirely around them.
They couldn’t even be bothered to show the postgame handshake—the easiest and most predictable moment of interaction in any game.
(And that’s not even talking about them potentially almost causing a catastrophic helicopter accident with their drone above 70k unsuspecting fans last night)
As a broadcaster, ESPN has a responsibility to act as a conduit for the viewer. Their job is to shepherd the story from the location to the viewer without putting themselves in the middle of it. Unfortunately, they continually fail in both regards. It’s time for them to be held accountable.
In the most anticipated matchup between coaches in decades, ESPN completely missed the postgame handshake.
In terms of production, there is no organization more incompetent.
The climax of this whole broadcast was the Lane Kiffin / Pete Golding handshake after an Ole Miss win. Inexcusable to miss that and not even address it.

For all the talk about how "violent" Oxford, Mississippi, was going to be yesterday, the only person who threw anything was the head football coach of LSU, throwing a football at Ole Miss fans and striking one of them in the head.
I'm sure if the Ole Miss fans threw stuff at Kiffin, our school would take a hefty fine and the folks who threw items would be tracked down, arrested, and banned from future athletic events. I doubt coaches will be held to the same standard.
