We regret the postponement of Palestinian legislative & presidential elections until September 2027. Palestinians must be able to elect their leaders. Credible, inclusive elections are vital for democratic legitimacy, accountability & the two-state solution.

Marking one year since the New York declaration, we gathered in a meeting chaired by the President of France, the Prime Minister of Canada, the Prime Minister of the UK and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Saudi Arabia.
Our central message: a just and lasting peace requires two states, Israel and Palestine, living side by side in peace, security and dignity.
Finland remains firmly committed to the two-state solution as the only sustainable path to ending this conflict.
