This summer I’m taking @Filmpoem to France to screen a new commission, working with @j_w_norton and @yvonnelyonmusic. the first rushes are dark and evocative. I’m also currently thrilled at the possibilities of new collaborations. The future may be water. My heart to Rosebud.

The great Maya Angelou loved Robert Burns which is how she fell in love with poetry. In 1996 she came over to Scotland on a pilgrimage. In conversation with poet Donnie O'Rourke she asks him to sing a Burns song. It was captured on film. What a moment.
