Absolutely!
10th Birthday treat to see ET.
I remember the excitement of being in a crowd to watch this film - the queue snaking past the local nightclub. This was before the time of multi screens too. And a break an hour in for ice creams.

Reboots of TV shows onto the big screen have been a mixed bag, but which old shows do you think would work on the big screen with a new cast in the way things like Fall Guy and the Jump Street films worked?

What death scenes in films are amongst your favourites for whatever reason, be it dramatic, emotional, or even comical?
For a Trekkie like me, I don't think anything will hurt as much as this moment did when the film first released!

What video games based upon movies are your favourites, and which ones have you played that were just terrible?
I’ll always love the Robocop arcade game from 1988 (and home conversions), whilst regret ever playing The Crow: City of Angels from the late 90s!

What have been your top film picks for 2025 so far, and what are you excited for the most for the back half of the year?
Sinners and Flow are definitely my top so far. Aside from F4 and Superman next month, Weapons is the film I'm most stoked for yet to come.

What are your favourite musical sequences in films - not necessarily a musical film, but a sequence when a musical number is included?
For example, the opening of Temple of Doom, or the Twist & Shout moment in Ferris Bueller.

With Mission Impossible Final Reckoning on our doorstep, when we will see Tom Cruise perform an array of crazy stunts once more, it got me wondering about all time best action moments in film. Which action sequences in film are your favourites?
This whole sequence is my pick

There’s far too much TV content these days, which has meant many shows have fallen off my radar even though I was enjoying them (Slow Horses for example).
What TV shows have you had on the backburner so long that you would need to freeze time so you could play catch up on them?

What are some of your favourite Easter eggs in films? Those small nods or references to other things that you just love to spot?
I love looking for the A113 references in Pixar films, and the literal Easter eggs in Rocky Horror Picture Show.

What IP - game, book, comic, stageshow, whatever - that hasn’t been adapted to film or TV should be, or any that were done but deserve a better attempt?
My go to choice here is The Sword of Truth books by Terry Goodkind, which deserve better than Legend of the Seeker was

Yes, influencers are bought. That's common knowledge, and is why they are not classed as critics.
Critics are lucky if they get a bagel and a coffee - trust me, I've attended a fair number of press screenings.
Stop being disingenuous in comparing the two.
