All of these NCAA exhibition games, you can say what you want about it that it doesn’t “count” but all of these high major coaches are trying to win. They’re playing their starters 30+ minutes, treating it as a regular season game. Still doesn’t look the best if you lose.

The circle around you can prevent opportunities for you that your game can’t even help. Be careful out here.

The Jovan Milicevic breakout is here.
Xavier dominates the second half to beat Tennessee 86-70 in an exhibition in Knoxville. Thoughts? 🤔

Marcus Ponder 21 rebounds yesterday, 12 of those were offensive. These are the things that will get him PAID at the next level.

Reaves and Luka are going to make the Lakers better than people expect.

A lot of young players in North America have been conditioned to chase the clout. Media starts telling them they’re going to make the NBA at 14 years old. Kids in Europe don’t grow up like that. It’s a long game.

Having someone who knows what they’re doing can change your life. The right skill development and mentorship is key.

Jovan Milicevic and Mike Nwoko are the best two Canadians in the NCAA that are producing at the HM level. Now with them being on the same team next year - things will get very scary.

The small bucket getter that doesn’t really make plays for others isn’t what NBA teams are looking for right now. Similar to guys like Cam Thomas who have the talent to get a bucket anytime but don’t really get others better. Rob can be a good addition for a team off the bench.
I was completely sold on Rob Dillingham as a lottery pick. Two years later, three teams have moved on, and he's out of the NBA. Are teams becoming less patient with young players, or did scouts like myself simply get it wrong? Part 3 of my series “The NBA Keeps Drafting Younger. So Why Are Teams Getting Less Patient?” nbabigboard.com/p/did-the-nb…

Like I’ve been saying.. most underrated player from Canada. 6’4 PG in the 2028 class. Will be a huge addition for a college program.
Northern Illinois University was in to see Lake Forest Academy’s 6’4 combo guard, Goran Davidovic. Davidovic is currently receiving interest from NIU, Holy Cross, Dartmouth, and Purdue Fort Wayne. As a member of the class of 2028, he is on track for continued development and heightened recruitment over the course of his high school season at LFA and during spring and summer live sessions. Davidovic is an athletic guard with solid ball skills, scoring ability, a competent level of paint/midrange operation. Expect Davidovic’s stock to rise in the near future.

I once brought a couple NBA teammates an opportunity to invest in a blue-chip private company. Nobody bit. The deal ended up being a success. But at the time, I was an unproven rookie, and to them, probably just another guy trying to get a piece of their NBA money. Funny thing is, once I earned their respect on the court, the same conversations started getting very different responses. "What does this guy want from me?" became "Why does he think I should see this?" It's made me realize how many people mistake having access to athletes for having their trust. Two completely different things.

Teams are cold on him because he's a MICROWAVE SCORER and the NBA isn't really rocking with that type right now. It's a TRENDY LEAGUE and his style not a Trend that's IN that's ALL. The production LOUD everywhere he go though.
I know his resume he can play and he has skills the Warriors don't have! My question to you why has so many teams passed on him

I’m tired of this convo. Mid range shots are the only way to win chips. Teams will protect the rim and 3 point line but if you can make a middy you can win at a high level
Why is a midrange the “worst shot in basketball”?

We got too many people in basketball advising these kids to do the wrong things. Imagine telling a kid who’s a shooter not to take the middy.. nasty work.
Yall keep Listening to what all these people tell yall. You better learn to do what’s best for you and your kid. My son was a 6’4 pg. you damn right the middie game is part of our arsenal. It’s flagrant idiocy for me to not implement that in his game.
