🧵Filecoin enters a tighter supply phase this October is entering a tighter supply phase.
TL;DR: New FIL currently enters circulation at ~10% of supply per year: vesting is ~67M FIL, block rewards ~22M.
This coming October 15, 2026, will complete PL & FF vesting, leaving block rewards as the only new supply: ~2% a year.
We simulated what happens to FIL supply from there under different demand scenarios; in the strongest case, more FIL leaves circulation than enters it.
