Europeans were so busy drawing imaginary parallels between Trump and Hitler that they completely overlooked an entire chapter of their own history: the collapse of the Roman Empire.

While a lot of us are bracing for another expensive winter and watching our electric and gas bills, Eversource’s CEO was recently telling an industry conference not to worry too much about the criticism coming out of the governor’s office. Joe Nolan said he had a friendly chat with Healey and Driscoll, reminded them the election was only a few weeks away, and told the room that the tough talk about utilities is mostly noise that will quiet down once the election is over. He said the governors still tell him “nothing personal, Joe, you’re our friend” behind the scenes. Around the same time, he and other Eversource executives were also maxing out or donating to Healey’s campaign. High energy costs are a real issue for a lot of households right now. Is the criticism just election-year talk, or do you expect anything meaningful to change for ratepayers after November?

The most ridiculous thing is that the mainstream media still want us to believe these are students who want more money for their schools. If they're really that concerned with public funding, why are they attacking healthcare professionals and firefighters? I wonder if there's even a single journalist who can answer that question.

Newly revealed CIA records prove that Chavez had used same voting systems used in U.S. in 2020 to rig his own reelection in Venezuela & intended to use them to interfere in U.S. national elections!
KARSTENS: The CIA declassified its own intelligence on Venezuela’s electronic voting manipulation, and the document contradicts its conclusion. It details intent to influence U.S. politics, targeted voting centers, machines, and a planned vote margin. Then the CIA says large scale fraud did not occur.

There is the National Police and the National Gendarmerie, the latter of which is statutorily part of the armed forces (military power in the service of the government, as defined by Napoleon). There is also, within the city limits of Paris, the 1st Infantry Regiment of the Republican Guard (a branch of the National Gendarmerie; it provides security for the Élysée Palace and the national palaces), along with the GIGN (National Gendarmerie Intervention Group) and the National Gendarmerie Armored Group, both based in Satory, near Versailles, in the Paris region... There are also the personnel of the Paris Police Prefecture (a state within a state, a sort of French-style KGB...), the RAID (Search, Assistance; Intervention, Deterrence)—which reports to the Ministry of the Interior and serves as the National Police’s equivalent of the GIGN—the Paris police precincts, and all the BAC (Anti-Crime Brigade)-type units throughout the Île-de-France region, as well as a number of other units that could be called in for backup... In short, the French state apparatus was either incompetent or turned a blind eye—or perhaps both at the same time... France is undergoing a crisis of governance... Photo: RAID.

JOHN SOLOMON: The most important document released today is a previously classified email from George Kent to Marie Yovanovitch saying Joe Biden should be told his son undercut U.S. anti-corruption efforts in Ukraine. It directly contradicts what the impeachment team told America. @jsolomonReports

EVERY DEMOCRAT VOTED NO. REMEMBER THAT IN NOVEMBER. Steve Scalise draws the contrast: Republicans passed tax relief for workers and seniors with Trump. Every Democrat voted against it. Now ask those Democrats what they’re offering you besides a bigger government and another bill. Your paycheck. Your retirement. Your vote.

🚨THEY FILLED THE CAR WITH BALLOTS… AND SAID WHO WAS DOING IT James O’Keefe’s undercover cameras caught it cold. A ballot harvester in Minnesota shows the trunk and dashboard packed: “You can see my car is full. All these here are absentee ballots. Can’t you see? Look at all these. My car is full.” 300 in one haul. When asked who fills them out: “People who work with Ilhan and other candidates… they work for them.” Cash changes hands. Elders get visited. Blank or open ballots leave the building. Minnesota law limits how many you can carry. Federal law bans the pay-to-vote scheme. None of it mattered. This is the same machine still fighting every single effort to require citizenship proof and clean the rolls. The same people who call election security “disenfranchisement.” They never stopped. They just got quieter about the receipts. Pass the SAVE Act. Clean the rolls. End the harvest. The patriots are done pretending this is normal.

Never thought I’d say it, but my friends and I are voting red this time. Abdul is too extreme. Family tied to terrorism, mom moved money for terrorists, and those same people are donating to him. What do they even talk about at family dinners? Plus higher taxes and open borders? No thanks. Vote red.

So, what you're saying is she is no more a Lawyer than El-Sayed is a Physician. Both have doctorate, but neither has done what is required to practice in their chosen profession. So, they are both now engaged with politics. Move on. Nothing here.

My rank of 4 most confounding traditional @MassDems @maura_healey voter groups. 4. Union members - Trades See work opportunities shrink due to Dem regs, slower building, layoffs across Boston sectors, weak commercial real estate. 3. Teachers Deal with Dem-lowered standards, less accountability (Democrat hallmark), classroom challenges. Especially city schools with non-citizen / language challenges. 2. Black & Hispanic urban citizens Always promised meaningful progress. Quickly deprioritized behind illegal migrants. Stunning more don’t ask Mayor Wu, “Whaddya mean you don’t know how much we spend on them?” 1. Well-off burb Boomers & Gen X See their kids struggling with Dem-created high costs, shrinking jobs, leaving MA for better opportunities. Own top “confounding” spot by a wide margin. #mapoli #bospoli #magov

If you want to know why America is polarized, it’s the fault of the media. Yesterday, the Free Beacon, a conservative outlet, caught Abdul Sayed in a lie when Abdul denied his family had a connection to the Muslim Brotherhood. The FB showed a tweet by his own sister saying their mother belonged to the MB. The revelation that Abdul lied about his family ties to a radical Islamic terrorist group was ignored by NBC, ABC, CBS’s nightly news shows. The NYT and WP haven’t covered it. This should be a screaming front page story. Instead, the MSM runs cover for Abdul. The American people just want to know the truth about their politicians. Instead, the media are helping Abdul cover up the truth. Abdul has a lot to hide. It’s a tragedy the MSM is part of the team helping him hide it.

Well, that was wild. I'm at the Australian Parliament and just left a meeting with two staffers for the governing party. They told us that the government needed more power to censor things like the upcoming US execution of Nidal Hasan. When I asked why they needed to censor that video, one said it was to prevent copycat killings. Copycat killings by governments? I asked. Er, no, they said. Copycat killings like of a backpacker, several decades ago. So, under that logic, I pointed out, the government should censor things like last year's Bondi massacre, where two Muslims killed 15 people, no? Well, that was news, they said. Didn't they realize their bill would allow the government to censor news? They didn't seem to know, or care. They also admitted that they did not know that the bill would allow the government to create and operate an unlimited number of fake social media accounts to attack its political enemies and spread disinformation. Having presented them with information they had never heard about a bill they had clearly not read, they emphasized to us, strenuously, that they were moving forward with the bill. So there you have it. The government wants the power to arbitrarily censor scenes of violent crime, or violence, for any reason. And it wants the power to use an unlimited number of fake accounts to wage offensive disinformational warfare against the Australian people. Given that the Bondi massacre last year increased public opposition to mass migration, and support for the populist One Nation Party, it seems obvious that the government wants to censor such events in order to protect its political power. It's quite telling how obediently governing party members insist such a law is needed without even knowing what's in it.

My post about France went viral. Thousands of likes. Many Americans told me: "Democrats aren't socialists. America will never be France." I want to answer that seriously, step by step. Start with a simple observation. Look at what has gotten cheaper in America over the last 25 years: TVs, phones, software, clothes, toys. Now look at what has exploded: college tuition, healthcare, childcare, housing. What separates the two lists? The first lives in competitive markets. The second is exactly where government is most involved: subsidies, mandates, licensing, zoning, regulation. College. Washington lends students almost unlimited money. Universities know the money will always come, so they raise tuition and hire more administrators. The student pays the bill for twenty years. More government money, higher prices. Housing. Why can't a nurse buy a home in the city where she works? Not because of capitalism. Because of zoning laws, permits, environmental reviews, years of procedure to build a single building. The most expensive places to live in America are the places where it's hardest to build. When building is nearly illegal, prices explode. Healthcare. The patient almost never sees the price. A third party pays, regulations limit who can compete, and costs climb year after year with no one able to say no. So here is the trap. The problems you suffer from are not the failure of free markets. They are the places where the market has already been replaced by the state. And the solution you're being offered is more of the same. That's the Trojan horse. It always works the same way. A real problem. A generous-sounding promise. A program that makes things worse. Then the failure of that program becomes the argument for the next one. People who lived under communism in Poland learned to recognize the lie and the mask the lie wears. The lie never presents itself as a lie. It presents itself as compassion. In France we are at the end of that road. Debt we can never repay. Young people who can't afford a home. Our best people leaving. And every few years our cities burn. Nobody voted for this. They voted for one more generous promise, fifty years in a row. If you're a Republican, share this with the Democrat in your life. Not to win an argument. To start a conversation. If you're a Democrat, I'm not asking you to switch teams. I'm asking you to look at the pattern. Wherever the state took over, life became unaffordable. Don't fix the failures of government with more government. Stay American. Ask for less state, not more.
I’m French. I want to talk to Americans who are about to vote Democrat. Not to insult you. To warn you. I come from your future. In France we did everything your progressive politicians promise. Free healthcare, free college, generous welfare, strong unions, heavy regulation, high taxes on the rich, a state that takes care of everything. Public spending close to 57% of GDP, one of the highest on the planet. On paper, it’s the dream. Here’s what it looks like from the inside. France hasn’t passed a balanced budget since 1974. Our debt is above 3,300 billion euros. Interest on that debt is becoming one of the biggest items in the national budget. Our hospitals are collapsing despite record funding. Our schools rank lower every year. Young people with degrees can’t afford an apartment in the city they were born in. Our best engineers leave for London, Zurich and San Francisco. And the rich you wanted to tax? They left too, and took the jobs with them. The promise was protection. The result is stagnation. The worst part is that nobody in France voted for decline. Every single step sounded generous, compassionate, reasonable. One more program. One more regulation. One more tax to fund it. Each step alone makes sense. Fifty years of them, and you wake up in a country that can no longer build a nuclear plant on time or keep its streets safe. I love America because it’s the one place on earth where people still believe they can build something from nothing. I came to Silicon Valley as a self-taught kid and it changed my life. That spirit is the most precious thing your country has. Before you vote, ask yourself one question: is the program you’re voting for making America more like America, or more like France? Trust me. You don’t want to be France.
