This is every person and organisation involved in the St John Ambulance Ireland abuse case that's on the record. 39 people and 18 organisations over six decades, all around one abuser. I disclosed in 1999. St John Ambulance didn't make a child protection referral about my complaint until 2012. It was then lost, and only found by Tusla in 2018. The DPP declined to prosecute in five cases. When he was finally charged in 2025, he was found unfit to stand trial. A public inquiry was ruled out. The only independent review was commissioned by St John Ambulance itself, on terms it set, and could reach no conclusions about any individual. Look at where the decision-makers sit. The DPP, the regulators and the Ministers are at the very edge. The officers I disclosed to have no link to any State body. The connections that do exist were made by survivors and a handful of TDs and Senators who raised it for us. And this map only shows what we already know. The real picture is bigger. Nobody has been held to account. Please share this map. The more people see how big this is, the harder it is to ignore. #StJohnAmbulance #Survivors #ChildProtection #Accountability #PublicInquiry

Extraordinary this from Brian Kerr: - Spoken with Gavin Bazunu who’s feeling quite low and shunned by players/FAI - Suggested to him it’d be better he left the squad for remainder of this window - Wasn’t told about meeting this morning - Wasn’t there for vote this morning (his vote was assumed by other players) 🎥 @VMSportIE

Doctor covering weekend A&E was unable to access hospital IT system, patients’ group claims ✍️ Maeve Sheehan The senior house doctor was one of six recruited by the Mater Hospital in Dublin’s north inner city to boost clinical cover in the emergency department last weekend. Stephen McMahon, of the Irish Patients Association, flagged the issue in an email circulated to the Emergency Department Task Force consultation group, although he did not identify the hospital. Having publicly challenged consultants to work differently, he said, the minister “now needs to apply the same scrutiny to the systems that are supposed to support them”. “There is little point getting a doctor through the hospital door if the hospital cannot make that doctor operational when they arrive,” he said. independent.ie/irish-news/he…

€70,190 raised. 💚 Today, 9 incredible people donated €543 towards getting Katie the hip surgery she desperately needs. Every donation means more than I could ever explain. It means someone has seen Katie, heard her story and decided that her future matters. We have now reached 18% of our €400,000 target, but we still have €329,810 left to raise. Katie is still waiting. Still in pain. Still watching her friends plan their futures while hers remains on hold. This surgery could give her the chance to move forward with her life, but we cannot get her to Florida without help. Thank you from the bottom of my heart to everyone who donated today. Please keep sharing Katie’s fundraiser. One donation and one share at a time, we have to keep fighting for her. 💚 🔗 gofund.me/67e854851 #KatiesFight #HelpKatieGetHipSurgery #CerebralPalsy #HipDysplasia #GoFundMeIreland

Shocking indictment of our treatment of brave people doing the right thing. Whistleblower says exposing Camhs scandal ‘destroyed’ her life, but she does not regret it - Orla Ryan Dr Maya Sharma first raised concerns about prescribing practices in the Kerry Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (#Camhs) in 2020, later submitting a protected disclosure. Despite the outcome of the reviews, Sharma has struggled to find work since 2023, claiming she was “unofficially blacklisted”. She moved to London and is currently living in temporary homeless accommodation, as was first reported by RTÉ in April. #Whistleblower irishtimes.com/ireland/2026/…

Sorry to report there has been no resolution. The State is steadfast in its defence, denial and delay.
Yesterday my body failed me, I collapsed. I am extremely grateful to the ambulance staff who rushed me to Cavan Hospital where I received the greatest of care. Against medical advice I discharged myself, I have a mediation today to settle OUR 12 year battle against the State.

Someone with morals and integrity
'I blew the whistle on Harvey case at CHI' ✍️ Maeve Sheehan A former manager at Children's Health Ireland (#CHI) has revealed she is the whistleblower who flagged concerns around Harvey Morrison Sherratt's care. Anita Little, a former spinal services business manager, who settled a legal employment dispute with CHI last week, told the Sunday Independent: "Yes, I can confirm I am the whistleblower." She said she made a protected disclosure to the Health Minister after it came to her attention that Harvey who suffered from complex scoliosis and spina bifida, had been inexplicably removed from the waiting list. He died, aged nine. last July. "I felt the Minister for Health had the power to find out what happened with Harvey" she said. "I was also aware that his parents did not know he had been removed from the waiting list which is just absolutely outrageous." Standing by the allegations she made in a protected disclosure, which was sent to the minister last August 31, Ms Little said she is willing to testify at the statutory inquiry or any inquiry. "There are patients at risk due to suboptimal processes, lack of transparency, communication and waiting-list management practices at CHI." In a statement to the Sunday Independent, Ms Sherratt [@GillSherratt23] said the family still has no answers, two years after Harvey was removed from the waiting list. Ms Sherratt added the scope of the inquiry must be “wide” and “deep” enough “to truly uncover everything that’s been allowed to go on at CHI”. #PublicInquiryCHi #Whistleblower #JusticeforHarvey #CHI #HowIrelandWorks *Edited Front Page* independent.ie/irish-news/i-…

I don’t have a village to help me. I don’t even have a street. It feels like I am standing here on my own, begging the world to see my daughter. My name is Antoinette, and I am Katie’s mam. Katie is 19 years old and she has spent most of her life fighting battles no child should ever have to fight. She has lived with pain, appointments, waiting lists, uncertainty, and heartbreak. She has missed school, missed days with friends, missed moments she should have been enjoying, because her body is in pain and her future has been left hanging. For years I have fought for Katie. I have written emails, made phone calls, attended appointments, brought Katie for opinions, begged for answers, and tried to raise the money needed to give her the chance of surgery. I have done everything a mother can do, and still I feel like I am shouting into silence. They say it takes a village to raise a child. But what do you do when you don’t have a village? What do you do when you don’t even have a street? You keep going. You cry in private. You get up again. You post again. You ask again. You beg again. Because this is your child, and giving up is not an option. Katie needs help. She needs people to stand with her. She needs people to donate, to share, to speak her name, to help us reach the people who can make a difference. I know times are hard for everyone, and I know not everyone can donate. But sharing Katie’s story costs nothing, and it could be the share that reaches the right person. Please help me build the village Katie never had. Please donate if you can. Please share if you can’t. Help me give Katie the chance to live the life she deserves. Katie’s fight to keep walking is not over. gofund.me/e1fbdf347

It’s all a big merry go around for some people! They can do and say what they like when people have genuine concerns then end up top dog at another organisation. Slip out the back door, lay low and then resurrect! Hits hard it does when others are gagged!

Katie’s fundraiser update We are now at €66,020. That means we still need €333,980 to reach the €400,000 target to get Katie to Florida for the surgery she desperately needs. We have 51 days until 30th June. 51 days to raise the funds. 51 days to get Katie’s story seen. 51 days to reach the people who can help. Katie is 19 and has cerebral palsy, a dysplastic hip, twisted femur, retroverted pelvis and a labral tear. She should be planning her future after her Leaving Cert, not facing the fear of a lifetime in her wheelchair, arthritis, or a full hip replacement at 19. If enough people helped, this is what it would take: 33,398 people donating €10 16,699 people donating €20 6,680 people donating €50 3,340 people donating €100 Please don’t wait for someone else to help. Donate if you can. Share if you can’t. Tag someone who might help. Katie’s fight to keep walking needs all of us. gofund.me/42a1b91d8

This article raises very serious questions about consent, governance and accountability in CAMHS. Dr Maya Sharma did the right thing by speaking up. She exposed failures that should never have been allowed to happen, yet like so many healthcare whistleblowers, she appears to have paid a huge personal and professional price. If the system accepts that her concerns improved services, then the system must also do the right thing by her. Whistleblowers should be protected, not punished. #CAMHS #Whistleblowers #PatientSafety #Accountability

Real shame on her colleagues. Spineless cowards in the HSE. At least they have a nice bike shed now. Everyone will have cake, ribbon cutting with whoever the Minister for Health is - does it matter? Photos and politicians and smiles and bike helmets and hi-viz - "Be Seen".
