Last Friday I did a workshop in Sculptural Relief at GoArt and we had a great time. This Friday we will be in Mount Morris, so if you live near the art center, come by and visit!

Packing the Foto Focus piece in the van for shipment to Cincinnati. It had to arrive in perfect condition and using an art courier is critical....It arrived safely!

I am included in the international Foto Focus exhibition 'World Record' with the curated new sculpture 'Alteration'. This new work combines my photographic subjects with my sculptural forms.

The Texas Sculpture Exhibition has opened and my new work, Fragile Equilibrium is included.....

I received the two-year Mellon Foundation grant of $130,00. via the Artists Employment Program that keeps me producing sculpture and enables me to interact with the community, sharing and teaching. Thrilled and thankful for the honor.

Last of the new series of framed 2D sculptural deconstructions....Squared2: Concept #1 is now on Artsy!

'Linear Compression:#3', has deconstructed the aluminum panels and nylon cords of it's sculptural namesake. The cords are an organic contrast to the rigid metal.....soon to be on Artsy.....

'Linear Compression:#2', a 2D-Deconstruction from the 'Suspension vs Gravity' sculptures, picks up on the perforations and angles via layering of slender aluminum rod and watercolor pencil under the grid system. Soon to be on Artsy!

The 2D-Deconstructions based on the sculptures in the RIT University Gallery exhibition will be going for sale on Artsy soon. This 24" sq. work is Linear Compression: Concept #1, pencil grid and laced nylon cord.

'Alteration' finished it's run in the Double Take exhibition and will be coming home soon....the next exhibition is shaping up.....news very soon!
