We have been learning how to count in 10s on a number line. We had lots of fun working with our partner to find the missing numbers! 🌟

We have enjoyed celebrating World Book Day by reading the story ‘The Day the Crayons Quit’. We had lots of fun working creatively to design our own crayons. We also wrote a letter to persuade the crayons not to quit! 🖍️

We were very excited to start our Geography topic all about the world’s hot and cold places! We worked together to sort images of different locations and we were brilliant at using vocabulary to describe what we could see! 🌍

In Art, we have been exploring the use of tones when shading. We are super proud of our work, well done Fern Class!

We had lots of fun playing a game during maths mastery today to help us with our understanding of the composition of odd numbers!

We read the poem ‘The Quangle Wangle’s Hat’ by Edward Lear. We became illustrators to show our understanding of the poem. Fantastic imaginative ideas! 🌳👒🌟
