I would like to be able to see my son go into school each morning without a mask on, so that I can once again see his smile as he waves goodbye, and so that I can once again know he can see the faces of his friends and teachers. It saddnes me that I even have to say this.

What the hell is happening to this country? Ottawa has decided that, starting November 3, employers will no longer need a Labour Market Impact Assessment for qualifying job offers under parts of the Express Entry immigration system. Think about that. Canadians are struggling to find decent-paying jobs. Young people are having trouble getting established. Families are being crushed by the cost of living. And our federal government is removing a requirement designed to assess the need for foreign workers in these immigration applications. Are you kidding me? I’ve spent my life running businesses, employing people, farming and paying taxes. I understand labour shortages. I understand the value of skilled immigration. But I also understand something Ottawa seems to have forgotten. A government’s first responsibility is to the people it represents. If qualified Canadians are available and willing to work, they deserve a fair shot before employers use foreign job offers to support immigration applications. And given the documented problems with fraudulent job offers, why would we remove a layer of scrutiny instead of demanding stronger accountability? Ottawa says it will still verify job offers. Fine. Prove the safeguards work. I’m sick and tired of watching governments demand more from taxpayers while expecting less accountability from themselves. Why the hell am I paying taxes to a government that can’t even demonstrate it’s protecting the interests of Canadian workers? Enough is enough.
The β€œhigh wage” jobs here are $42,700 USD or up. So employers don't have to show a Canadian could not do the job and can hire anyone if the salary is over $42,700 USD, even if a Canadian applied. And there are many instances of employers selling job offers to migrants for cash.

WTF happened with Vancouver's election? They voted for the dumbest people possible giving them a sweep. Anti-capitalists commies who want to double down on bike lanes and drugs while defunding the police. Voters literally doubled down on everything ruining the City πŸ€¦πŸΌβ€β™‚οΈ

Even his wife thought it was laughable he was the PM. Canadians who voted to have this guy as leader of a G7 nation for 10 years are the same ones who now believe Carney's daily bullshit. No difference, same outcomes.

Excellent point.
Conversely, a lot of places that only just got their first taste of drug zombies everywhere all the time voted to end it. Canada is becoming bifurcated into shitholes and places desperately trying to avoid becoming shitholes.

On the money. The the Liberal Party of Canada for another example.
Once power becomes the most important thing to a political party, it starts calculating which demographics it needs in order to hold power, the security and well-being of the country be damned.

The globalist propaganda rag can’t stop pushing the pro-carney agenda. Look up who owns this organization and you’ll soon understand what’s really behind it.
Mark Carney wants to lessen Canada’s reliance on the United States and boost its place in the world. On many fronts he is making progress that would have seemed unthinkable two years ago economist.com/briefing/2026/…

The left still can’t admit their policies caused this unrest and threatened collapse of France
Deliberate CBC omissions on France protests. CBC on the French high school protests (and the broader October 17 mobilization): teacher shortages, rats in classrooms, tear gas, β€œkids want better schools,” and now β€œsome unrest.” What they leave out: * On October 17, during the national day of action (students + yellow-vest/cost-of-living elements), hooded individuals deliberately set fire to Limoges’ historic 19th-century HΓ΄tel de Ville after burning police cars and forcing entry. The campanile collapsed, much of the roof and structure was destroyed β€” a β€œcatastrophe patrimoniale.” The prefect and mayor described it as an intentional act by violent groups, not ordinary demonstrators. The building is largely lost * This sits on top of weeks of earlier violence: schools and fire trucks torched, teachers assaulted or doused with gasoline, hundreds of police injured, Merah/Bataclan-glorifying rap sung at blockades (including in a church), Palestinian flags and β€œOctober 7. Day of Celebration” graffiti, and Muslim gangs from banlieues joining leftist activists * LFI / MΓ©lenchon’s role in escalating the movement. MΓ©lenchon (Trotskyist background) has advocated Islamization and a β€œgreat replacement”/β€œnew France,” recruited pro-Hamas figures like Rima Hassan, refuses to call Hamas terrorists, draws heavy Muslim support, and has long pushed anti-police rhetoric. The Gatestone analysis frames this as a leftist-Islamist alliance using school grievances as a vehicle to attack the Republic. CBC reports the grievances and the clashes. It erases the deliberate destruction of civic symbols, the terrorist glorification, the Islamist symbols and gang involvement, the LFI radicalization, and the explicit rejection of French institutions on display. The sanitized CBC version pretends this is still just about underfunded classrooms

Truth.
This is what happens when multiculturalism, open borders, soft-on-crime policies, and systems that teach people to resent their country’s history collide

Western liberals imported the third world into France and other countries in the name of diversity and compassion. They ignored fundamental questions of assimilation and compatibility. They were told it would lead to this and they didn't listen. I pray that France, a beautiful country of amazing people, will stop this madness before more of its landmarks burn. And I hope Americans are paying attention. This is the future congressional Democrats seek for your country.
