The cuck chair is now in theaters
AMC Theatres is testing a new layout that includes a chair facing the back row. CEO Adam Aron comments, “Sometimes experiencing the magic yourself isn’t enough. Now you can watch your partner take it all in — and see that indescribable feeling when the lights begin to dim.”

Tempe has turned off its Flock automated license plate reader system and will end its contract with the company. The cameras are no longer collecting license plate data, and Tempe will not seek another company to replace the system. While the cameras have helped Tempe Police solve crimes, recent misuse of automated license plate reader systems in Arizona and nationwide has raised concerns about the risks that come with the technology. Tempe Police has found no misuse of its own Flock system. Flock will remove its cameras, and previously collected data will be automatically deleted after 30 days unless it is connected to an ongoing case or investigation. Read through the slides to learn more about the decision and what it means for Tempe.

We want voice chat in Marathon to be a safer and more respectful space for everyone. To support that, we’ll soon be rolling out voice moderation for in-game voice chat. This will apply to Crew Chat and Proximity Chat. When voice chat is used, voice audio may be analyzed and recorded so potential Code of Conduct violations can be reviewed and addressed. If needed, moderation or enforcement actions may be taken on accounts that break our policies. More information is available at bung.ie/voicemoderation.

Correct me if im wrong but this is literally just depression. You're depressed.
Gaming as an adult: > Have a 20+ game backlog > Launch the same game every night > Stare at the main menu > Close the game > Go to bed

Someone should make a video game that is actively harmful, not like its propaganda for dangerous opinions but just simply playing it somehow measurably deteriorates your physical/mental/emotional health like just booting it up and playing for an hour guarantees you ruin your day

This was my 9/11. I haven't trusted gaming journalism since this.
Mixtape sets a new standard for coming-of-age stories in games. Here are a few reasons why it got a 10:

Holy shit they confirmed in fact, it will be a video game
New details are out about Halo Next, the next big campaign game after Halo Infinite. >It has been in development at 343 Industries since 2022 and is called Campaign Next inside the studio. >It integrates story and gameplay for one great single-player game. >The full story will feel complete and emotional, easy for new players to enjoy but still fun for longtime fans. >The game stays true to the official Halo story and future plans. It adds more to the Halo universe with the Endless. >There are no plans to bring back the Flood right now. A Microsoft job ad for a story design leader shows they want a strong connected story.

Not sure where this one started, but it’s not true. The next Call of Duty is not being developed for PS4.

It's not a coincidence that most of Hollywood's recent hits are devoid of preachy liberal messaging If anything, movies are going back to conservative tropes from the 90's, such as: - Guys getting the girl trope - Strong, smart, and competent male protagonists - Female characters respect male characters - Male hero saves the day trope - Male characters are allowed to look cool again - Subtle references to fearing and/or respecting God

Respect is earned. When devs dont respect my time, or money, i dont care if they fail. Thats your nuance.
Half-Life writer Chet Faliszek has called out 'haters' who hope that games fail “If you hate game developers, you hate games ... If you’re cheering on for things to fail, if you think game developers have no idea about games, and only you ... just keep it to yourself”
