Concern is growing across East Africa in recent years over herders poisoning lions in retaliation for livestock attacks. "Poisoning is really the most brutal form of killing an animal. It's heart wrenching," Eric Ole Kesoi, one of the Maasai's finest trackers, tells CNN. cnn.it/4yClhmQ

✨ #CulturaNipona

In 2020, Tommy Tuberville promised to donate “every dime” of his $174,000 Senate salary to Alabama veterans and their families. A June investigation found no evidence he followed through, a pledge now worth roughly $1 million. Tuesday night, after a reporter asked about it, Tuberville told staff to remove him. Then he called the media “socialists” and “communists.”
The MAGA senator had a reporter thrown out of a campaign dinner after being confronted with an embarrassing question. thedailybeast.com/maga-senat…

No one asked where King Edward VIII was when George VI was crowned. No one asked where Andrew was when Charles was crowned. I don't think anyone will care where Harry is when William is crowned, except for Harry.

There's been feuds within Royalty throughout history. Queen Elizabeth I signed a death warrant for her cousin, King George I barred his son from court who was to be the future King, King Edward VIII was exiled plus many more. Harry's presence wouldn't be missed.

Crazy! King George didn’t have his traitor brother Edward at his coronation and neither did Queen Elizabeth have him at hers! Nobody will be thinking of the ginger or his wife and kids at King William’s coronation!

I will never care that Lindsey Graham was gay. I care that he spent his life voting against the rights of other gay people and betrayed his country to kiss Donald trump's ass.

Zelensky: The way Trump talks about me, he needs to adopt that kind of rhetoric about Putin. He's got sanctions on his desk. Congress voted for strong sanctions. I don't know why he is not doing it. Maybe they have a special relationship. Maybe something else. I can only guess

Owning a piece of Paramount-Warner Bros. would give Elon Musk a place at the table on Skydance's biggest decisions. On Thursday, came word that Elon would make a (start with?) $1 billion investment in the David Ellison company, according to a Semafor report. David and his father Larry are in the hole for $79 billion, and you can only cut that much staff to make up the difference. A cool $10 bil from Elon, even if not all of it is in cash, takes the bankers’ pressure off you. A chill $1b already helps. But the Ellisons’ financial breathing room comes in a distant second, consequence-wise, to what such an investment would create: a backdoor for Musk to enter the media-entertainment world. hollywoodreporter.com/busine…

The Russians tortured 500 people in Bucha. The Russians tortured children in Bucha. The Russians tortured dogs in Bucha. The Russians killed animals in Bucha. In Bucha, the Russians used military vehicles to hunt people—turning it into a game. People ran, the Russians fired, they hunted them down, playing games. And this didn’t just happen in Bucha. Trump and his mafia gang call this "humanitarian." What do you call it?
Bucha. It was a genocide, recognized by everyone. They buried hundreds of people. They tortured people. We found the grave. There were, I believe, around 500 people. When we liberated those towns near Kyiv, there emerged this, you know, this kind of hatred for the Russians, right at that moment. Not even at the moment when they started the full-scale war. Back then nobody understood what it really was yet. People understood what this war was and what Putin did personally when we found those mass graves of tortured adults, children. I mean they didn't just kill them, they tortured and killed them. When we liberated Bucha, I said, bring every journalist here. Don't touch anything, just bring the journalists. The whole world simply has to see this. Imagine finding a mass grave in the U.S. or in Britain, God forbid, with 500 tortured people, adults, kids, dogs, animals shot dead. I mean, they held hunting sprees there from military vehicles. People were running, they were shooting, just hunting, playing games. They literally just played with people, like slavery. So how, after this, can you listen to Putin? And how, after this, can you forgive? From The Diary of a CEO podcast with Steven Bartlett. (2/3)
