Nice to see @MaccSamaritans out at Macclesfield Train Station for #BlueMonday πŸ’šπŸ’™. A gentle reminder that there's no shame in needing help when you're struggling, it takes courage to reach out πŸ’•. Also a gentle PSA, if you're in need of counselling support 1/2

Please check with your employer to see if they have an Employment Assistance Programme (EAP), you may be entitled to free counselling support, which is more accessible than the NHS waitlist at current πŸ’• 2/2

Trainings and conferences aren’t the only way to grow as a therapist. I’ve found it’s the small and steady things I do day after day that lead to the most growth. Here’s 6 things you can start doing today: [thread] #TherapistTwitter

We did it πŸŽ‰πŸŽ‰! Today I graduated with a First Class Honours degree in Counselling and Psychotherapy. I'm made up for myself! Despite everything I lost, I gained so much πŸ’•. So here's to me 🍾 & here's to my dad who I'd have loved to have had by my side today 🍷#therapistsconnect

Hard to say β€œhappy” Pride month tbh when the Trans community, of all ages in the UK are being vilified in every part of our society. So I am pleading that you don’t believe what you read on here or in some media. It’s what they did to us Gays back in the 80’s. #PrideMonth

I'm now just shy of qualifying as a PCE therapist, after 4 years in education, and due to finish my degree with honours. I also have a place to call home and I'm leaving this experience with lifelong friends and a wealth of knowledge. I'm nearly there! πŸ₯°. #therapistsconnect 2/2

Say what? @thismorning all counsellors complete a minimum of two years vigorous training, quite often more. No membership body such as @bacp or @ncs_counselling would register them without. It’s dangerous putting such harmful info out to the public! #TherapistsConnect
The information on @thismorning about Therapists just being able to take an online course isn't correct. This is what @BACP is for @hollywills Who does the research on this show @ITV ?

For years I dreamt of becoming a therapist. It feels like madness to be sat just shy of 6 months away from completing my degree, especially after living through what felt like the worst year of my life. I'm made up with how far I've come! 😊 #TherapistsConnect

The amount of self-development that needs to happen, before you can sit in the therapist seat. Life changing!

A little can go a long way, spread the word πŸ³οΈβ€πŸŒˆπŸ’•
We've set up a QTBPOC therapy fund for 20 people to access therapy every week for a year. We'll be training 20 RTN members to deliver the highest quality therapy that is trans-cultural, anti-racist, trans affirmative & intersectional. Spread the wordπŸ’œ shorturl.at/jpxFI

As you honor my father today, please remember and honor my mother, as well. She was the architect of the King Legacy and founder of @TheKingCenter, which she founded two months after Daddy was assassinated. Without #CorettaScottKing, there would be no #MLKDay. #MLK
