Unwanted shiny Ursaring obtained on Pokémon Gold after 21,435 encounters on Route 28. I named it Pistache, after the pistachio, which is not actually a true nut botanically, but the seed of a fruit called a drupe.

Shiny Ursaring obtained on Pokémon Gold after 24,131 encounters on Route 28. I named him Baloo, after the bear from The Jungle Book. Carefree and easy-going, he takes Mowgli under his wing and teaches him to enjoy the simple things in life. GSC Shiny Living Dex 13 / 252

Returned to Gen 2 hunting today for the first time in months out of spite for Logan Paul. I was going for Onix but instead found a 9% Shiny Larvitar after 9915 REs. Honestly completely unexpected, but Logan only wishes he could find something this cool.
