Emphasis on the division between us. The end stars protest transformed into the revolution, however, halted by the evil of selfish individuals. Shout out to the souls lost. Unfortunately, the only lesson learnt is the peace in silence, ironically. May we heal from ourselves.
6 Years Later! We are still dealing with Insecurity, hunger, poverty, lack of proper health care and the highest level of corruption and impunity. The saddest part is that we are even more divided as a people at a time when we should be most united. I hope one day we truly realize the power that we have as citizens and stop allowing a few selfish individuals destroy the success and prosperity of the majority of us. Till then, ✌🏾 and 🤍

ONDO GOVT PAYS AUGUST ARREARS BALANCE OF NEW SUBVENTIONS TO TERTIARY INSTITUTIONS - As Gov urges striking unions to return to work The Ondo State Government today effected the payment of the August arrears balance of the new subventions to the four state-owned tertiary institutions in Ondo State. This payment marks the commencement of the implementation of the 60% increment on subventions to the institutions, aimed at meeting up with salary obligations and improving welfare. Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa therefore appeals to the striking unions of the institutions to, in good faith, call off the strike and return to work in the interest of our students and the overall development of the state. Prince Ebenezer Adeniyan, Chief Press Secretary to the Governor of Ondo State. September 3, 2026.

Our peaceful protest is being disrupted by the Nigerian Army. We are being intimidated and allegedly fired at while exercising our fundamental right to peaceful protest and demanding that our voices be heard. #AAUA @HQNigerianArmy @iambabtee @SaharaReporters @MobilePunch

This is a serious breach of the fundamental human rights provided in section 39 and section 40 of the 1999 constitution. Why are these men shooting while the students are demonstrating their grievances? What is going on @LuckyAiyedatiwa @officialABAT @HQNigerianArmy?

The idea of making the education strike free a determinant for good governance starts like this, and we end up falling for it, cos why not? They've made what should be our right a privilege. Enough is enough! We will not be for our rights. Take us back to classes.

This is getting out of hand. What initially seemed like a facade of what the ASUU strike used to be is gradually becoming a painful reality— one that is threatening the hopes, aspirations, and academic journeys of thousands of Nigerian students.

Quality education should not be treated as a privilege or an opportunity reserved for the fortunate. First, it was Asuu, now NASU? it's going wild.....

For many students, education is already a difficult journey. We struggle with inadequate facilities, rising tuition and living costs, unstable academic calendars and man more. The last thing students should have to worry about is another prolonged interruption to their education.
