He was a soldier on active duty enforcing an illegal occupation.
I have zero sympathy, and neither should anyone else. He was a legitimate target for armed resistance against the occupation.
The son of Israel's ambassador to the United States, Yechiel Leiter, has been critically injured in a ramming attack in the occupied West Bank.
Neria Leiter, a reservist, was manning a checkpoint near a settlement when it was attacked.
The driver, apparently a 29-year-old from a nearby village, was shot and killed.
It comes a few days after a Jewish man was shot and killed at a spring in the West Bank, shortly before Yom Kippur. The suspect in that attack was arrested by the IDF at a hospital in Ramallah.
