This was not about harvesting olives.
It was about harvesting headlines.
Brad Lander’s latest stunt is nothing more than a calculated political provocation.
Lander traveled to a foreign country, deliberately entered a restricted security area, and participated in an unauthorized activity without the required coordination.
What makes this stunt even more outrageous is that his own team contacted Israeli representatives in the United States ahead of his visit and was explicitly informed that proper coordination with the relevant authorities was required.
He chose to ignore those instructions.
At a time of heightened security tensions, Israeli security forces have a responsibility to protect lives, prevent dangerous incidents, and maintain public order.
Had anyone been injured as a result of his reckless political theater, Lander would undoubtedly have been among the first to demand that Israeli authorities intervene and provide protection.
Brad Lander came looking for a confrontation. Now he is pretending to be its victim.

This day is profoundly painful for so many New Yorkers. It marks three years since the horrific war crimes of October 7. On that day, Hamas killed more than 1,100 Israelis and abducted 251 others. We grieve alongside our many friends and neighbors who still carry that unthinkable loss.
The suffering did not begin nor end that day. It instead continued through the Israeli government’s devastating, ongoing genocide in Gaza, in which it has killed more than 74,000 Palestinians—including more than 21,000 children. Even since the so-called ceasefire, more than 1,400 Palestinians have been killed. That suffering has intensified with every Israeli bomb dropped on ambulances waiting outside hospitals, every drone strike targeting a residential building or journalist, and every shipment of food aid turned away at a border crossing. Many New Yorkers are reckoning with this unbearable grief, and we mourn alongside them – all while knowing that our tax dollars fund these war crimes.
Three years later, we must refuse to accept a world in which occupation and apartheid continue, where war crimes are met with impunity, and our federal government continues its complicity with every arms shipment.
To honor the dead, we must fight for a world in which every person can live with freedom, safety, and dignity.

I have to take a moment from my son’s bedside, on life support after being struck by a Palestinian terrorist, to respond to the dangerous lies being spewed by @NYCMayor.
It’s actually hard to find a sentence in Mamdani’s post that isn’t a lie.
Paying lip service to the victims of October 7 just to spread blood libels about Israel might play nicely to the red-green/communist-Islamist alliance that he promotes in the U.S, but those of us who know better see his perverted language for what it is. This man is a defender of Palestinian terrorism, a promoter of antisemitism, and an advocate of anti-Americanism.
Even today, October 7, he can’t help but attack the Jewish state with absurd accusations and outright propaganda.
Let’s be clear: the only attempted genocide in this conflict was perpetrated by the barbarians he supports, Hamas, who butchered, raped, and murdered in the most horrific ways imaginable.
There is no genocide, ethnic cleansing, or famine in Gaza. Hamas embeds itself among, behind, and beneath the people of Gaza, knowing that the IDF will not, ever, intentionally target civilians. It robs its own people of the humanitarian aid that Israel has facilitated into Gaza since the war began.
Hamas knows that its allies, including Zohran Mamdani, will regurgitate its lies, demonizing Israel and endangering Jews everywhere.
Israel and its allies will not be deterred from defending civilization against terrorist savagery. Those of us who envision a peaceful and prosperous Middle East, will root out the evil that is Islamic terrorism and build a better future for all, Jew and Arab alike.

Agam Goldstein-Almog was 17. She says it at the start of the film, because the age is the point.
On the morning of October 7 her family was in the safe room at Kibbutz Kfar Aza. Her father, Nadav, and her sister, Yam, were murdered there. She was taken with her mother, Chen, and her brothers, Gal, 11, and Tal, 9, and driven into Gaza in her mother’s car.
She describes the trip. Civilians in Gaza banging on the windows. She told her mother they were going to rape her. The men in the car talked about marrying her off. She asked only that the four of them be kept together. They were. A schoolteacher who was also Hamas held them, after a tunnel, in an apartment, dressed as civilians so the street would not see Israelis. Fifty-one days.
Released on November 26, 2023, moved from car to car through a crowd she thought was going to lynch them, and home to a house with two of them missing.
That is the footage the argument always omits. This isn’t a leaflet. And it isn’t a border dispute. She was a 17-year-old taken from the room where her father and sister had just been killed, with two little boys, into a home in Gaza, by people the marches across London, Paris and New York still call resistance.
She’s the one narrating it. The film doesn’t need a caption.

Meet Dr. Shota Musayev, the Israeli dentist who ran toward the cockpit of flydubai FZ1073 - first to fight, then to save the life of Captain Smit Machchhar after the co-pilot stabbed him mid-air.
Machchhar suffered heavy bleeding from the head and hands. Musayev was the only doctor on the plane.

Today we are incredibly grateful for the courage and quick action by pilot Cpt. Smit Machchhar who was stabbed by his copilot on FZ1073, yet still managed to open the cockpit door and call for help before collapsing. His heroism in the moment of crisis saved over 170 lives today.
Israelis are all wishing him a full recovery and are thankful for his leadership. 🙏🏽 🇮🇱 🤝 🇮🇳

Defense Minister Israel Katz says the incident aboard the flydubai plane earlier today "was a jihadist terrorist attack attempt."
The copilot of the Dubai-Tel Aviv flight allegedly stabbed the pilot in a suspected attempt to crash the aircraft, which later landed in Saudi Arabia.
"The grave incident on the flydubai plane was a jihadist terrorist attack attempt, which was thwarted only thanks to the bravery of several Israeli passengers who broke into the cockpit, overpowered the terrorist and, with their own hands, restored control of the plane to another flight crew who was present there," Katz says in a statement.
"According to the initial information in our possession, the terrorist had one intention: to crash the plane with all its passengers," he says.

⭕️Here is a partial list of roughly 150 Hamas attacks carried out in Judea and Samaria, or inside Israel, by Hamas terrorists and cells originating there—using official and publicly available sources, including Shin Bet records. The attached database itself defines that West Bank-linked scope and excludes thwarted plots. According to the compiled tally, those attacks killed at least 583 Israelis and injured at least 3,374. And this is a deliberately narrow list: Hamas only. West Bank-linked attacks only. Verified public sources only. So when Emmanuel Macron says Hamas has “never been active in the West Bank,” the documented historical record directly contradicts that claim. Their victims should not be erased to fit a political narrative.
🚨MACRON: “HAMAS HAS NEVER OPERATED IN THE WEST BANK.” This is not a matter of opinion. It is demonstrably false. Hamas has operated, recruited, and directed terrorist attacks in the West Bank for decades. Just this month, Israeli security agencies identified a senior Hamas operative who had helped direct terrorism in the West Bank and was tied to multiple deadly attacks there. And just this week, an Israeli was murdered in a terrorist shooting in the West Bank—an attack Hamas publicly praised, although it did not claim responsibility. For the President of France to erase Hamas’s documented history in the West Bank is an extraordinary distortion of the historical record.
Macron may criticize Israel’s policies. He does not get to rewrite history to make that argument.
