True patriotism is not defending every action of those in power; it is defending what is right. When government fails to protect the innocent or respond justly to suffering, citizens must raise their voices with courage and respect. A silent conscience enables wrongdoing, but a united call for justice can inspire better leadership and help safeguard lives. Heavenly Father, comfort every family experiencing pain, fear, or loss. Protect the vulnerable and grant wisdom, compassion, and urgency to those entrusted with authority. Give us the courage to speak for justice, the wisdom to do so peacefully, and the perseverance to stand for what is right until good prevails. Amen.

Seun, you're such a lazy journalist. Imagine allowing these charlatans and pant washers come to your studio and lie against Peter Obi and you do not fact check them. Below is picture of Peter Obi leaving Anambra state Internal Revenue service on invitation of Chief tax officer as regards his taxes. This picture has been on the internet for years and I'm sure you've come across it before, yet you sit back and give jigolos platform to malign Obi.
“Peter Obi does not pay tax. He cleverly manipulates the books and keeps his own taxes and a lot of his huge assets offshore.” — Adams Oshiomhole, Senator, Edo North (APC), accuses Peter Obi of tax evasion and concealing assets offshore. #seunokinbaloye #politicstoday #channelstv

The young man on black wanted to dive into what he thought was an easy way to hold onto his argument. Talking about doctors strikes in Anambra during Obi tenure will always be a mistake.

Who understands what Tinubu is saying here?😭 Look at the faces of the crowd. Everyone is utterly confused!💔✍️
There's this Tinubu’s video in Akwa Ibom that they are hiding from Nigerians. Tinubu tried to defend his government’s monetary policy reform, i.e. the unified foreign exchange policy, but went off point leaving the crowd confused. No I know why he doesn't speak extempore!😭✍️

NIGERIANS, WE NEED YOUR HELP! 🇳🇬 INEC has restricted the amount of time each person can spend on its website, so we need as many people as possible to help with this exercise. Here’s what we’re doing: We’re counting the number of registered voters in each polling unit for 2027 and comparing it with the number of registered voters in that same polling unit in 2023. INEC won’t show us the full register, so we have to do this ourselves, one polling unit at a time. Here’s how you can help. It takes just 60 seconds! STEP 1: Go to this link ⤵️ check.nigeriaelects.com STEP 2: Copy the code generated where it says “Your Polling Unit”. It’s the code containing numbers and dashes. STEP 3: Go to the INEC website and scroll down to “Find a Polling Unit”. Paste the code you copied into the PU Code box and click “Find”. STEP 4: The polling unit information will appear, including the number of registered voters. Copy ONLY the number of registered voters (the whole number, without the dashes). STEP 5: Return to the first website, paste the number into the space provided for registered voters and click Submit. That’s all! See the attached video for a visual guide. 60 seconds of your time can help us build a clearer picture of what’s happening with our voters’ register. Please participate and share this with other Nigerians. The more people who help, the more polling units we can cover. Let’s get to work! 🇳🇬

Kwankwaso, what a man! He took his time & explained the new taxes that await people of Tinubu return, the controversy surrounding the fuel subsidy, their plans for education, et al. He also told them about how the NDC logo will appear on the ballot. I can’t translate everything. You will enjoy this clip if you understand Hausa. And lastly, Kwankwaso said that he regretted not working with Obi in 2023. They would’ve chased this government out. What a time to be alive! 🥹 My people, joy is coming! Nigeria must be OK!

Dear Well-Meaning Nigerians, Stop engaging these APC data boys. They are given specific targets and have KPIs to meet every month, usually based on engagements and impressions, before they get paid. If you must respond to their tweets, take a screenshot and share it instead of engaging directly. Don't help them meet their targets. Starve them of the engagement they need. Shalom 🙏

I am profoundly saddened and deeply disturbed by reports of violence directed at members and coordinators of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) and the Obidient Movement in Delta State. I unequivocally condemn the attacks against our coordinators, supporters, and fellow citizens who were merely exercising their democratic rights. Political violence has no place in a democracy and can never be justified. No political aspiration is worth the life of a Nigerian, and no dispute should be resolved through intimidation, physical attacks, or the destruction of property. It is particularly troubling that, at a time when Nigeria urgently needs responsible leadership, some individuals continue to believe that political influence can be secured through thuggery, fear, and violence. Political authority should be attained through persuasion and the trust of the people, not by intimidating opponents. I urge the Government and the security agencies to conduct an immediate and thorough investigation into these attacks, identify those responsible, and ensure that they face justice, irrespective of their political affiliations. The safety and security of our members must be assured. We will not be intimidated or silenced, nor will we relinquish our democratic space to violence. Our response will remain peaceful, lawful, and determined. Nigeria belongs to every one of us. No political party or individual has exclusive ownership of the democratic space. Every Nigerian is entitled to organise, gather, express their views, and freely elect their leaders. Our nation needs constructive ideas rather than intimidation, responsible leadership rather than thuggery, and democratic contest rather than political violence. I stand in solidarity with everyone affected in Delta State. A New Nigeria must be founded on justice, liberty, peace, and respect for the dignity of every citizen. May God bless Delta State and the Federal Republic of Nigeria. -PO

Since I woke up this morning, I've taken my time to go through the comments, quotes, and advice people have shared. Trust me, I'm going to take every single piece of advice seriously. However, there's one advice I will not take, and that's people telling me to stay away from politics and focus solely on my business. I think I responded to someone's comment suggesting that we should vote for Peter Obi, and I noticed that quite a number of people dragged me for it. But honestly, why should I be told not to talk about politics and just concentrate on my business? Who do you think put me in the situation I'm currently in? Is it not the government? I shouldn't talk about politics, but politics is talking about me. Do you understand how badly government policies have affected my business and my livelihood? I'm genuinely grateful to everyone who came through for me, but the truth is, I'm still going to bear losses. And who created the economic conditions that contributed to those losses? The government. Let me also address those who believe I made a financial mistake by opening the shop in the first place. Yes, perhaps there were things I could have done differently, but let me give you some context. My shop is strategically located between two major universities in Port Harcourt: the University of Science and Technology (UST) and Ignatius Ajuru University. These institutions have thousands of students. Do you honestly think these students don't want cookies? Why do you think I chose that location in the first place? The idea was simple: students from both universities would make up a significant part of my customer base. Interestingly, since this whole support campaign started, a good number of the people who have shown up to support me are students from these same universities. They have always been my target audience. But the problem is that the economy has destroyed their purchasing power. These students, who ordinarily would patronise my business, are now more concerned about paying school fees, feeding themselves, and meeting their basic needs. And somehow, I'm being told not to talk about politics? You're telling me to focus on my business, post my products, and leave politics alone. But why can't I do both? Why can't I promote my business and also speak about the political leadership and candidate I believe can bring about the change we desperately need? Why shouldn't I advocate for someone I believe can help change the circumstances that have made running a small business this difficult? I was fortunate that my situation gained attention and people rallied around me. But what happens the next time? Will I have to depend on a viral post before I can make meaningful sales? Is that how a business should survive? Absolutely not. I appreciate every single person who has supported me, advised me, encouraged me, and shown me love. I will take the business advice, learn from my mistakes, and make better decisions going forward. But please, don't tell me to stop talking about politics. The economy is affecting my business. Government policies are affecting my customers. The political decisions being made in this country have direct consequences on my livelihood. I cannot separate my business struggles from the politics and economic realities that contribute to them. I have every right to speak about both. PLEASE VOTE PETER OBI!!! ✌️
Please, I've got cookies in my shop that's close to expiration so I've put them for sale at 50% discount I've already lost two cartons to the same issue, there's been no sales If you're in port Harcourt I'd really appreciate if you patronise me They cost 3600 but now 1800 🙏

GOOD DAY, MR PRESIDENT: NIGERIANS DESERVE ACCOUNTABILITY Good day, Mr President. I congratulate you on spending a night in one of Nigeria’s states outside Lagos and Abuja. I hope you enjoyed the warmth, hospitality, and delicious cuisine of Akwa Ibom, which I am sure is even better than those of the destinations where you have spent over 260 days outside Nigeria since coming into office. I sincerely hope this visit will inspire you to travel to the remaining 33 states of the federation, spend time with the people and, more importantly, explain what your administration has done with the ₦15.8 trillion saved from the removal of fuel subsidy, the over $100 billion you have borrowed, the increased revenues accruing to the government from taxing Nigerians, and the additional government revenues which your administration celebrated last year as having surpassed its target. Nigerians deserve to know how many that were pulled out of poverty within this period, how many out-of-school children were returned to school, and how many functional primary healthcare centres you have built. They also deserve to know how much electricity supply has improved, especially given your promise that if you do not fix power, Nigerians should not vote for you. They deserve an explanation of how you have secured the country, which still ranks among the most terrorised countries in the world. Mr President, Nigerians deserve answers. They deserve to know what has been done with the resources entrusted to your government. The New Nigeria we want to build will be based on accountability, transparency, and the physical, measurable impact of our public resources on the lives of citizens. A new Nigeria is POssible. -PO

As Governor of Anambra State, Peter Obi took several actions to address gully erosion and petitioned the federal government for ecological support, though his record is viewed differently by political critics and supporters. [1, 2, 3] Actions and Measures Taken During His Tenure •Road Design and Drainage Policies: Obi blamed past poor road designs for worsening gully erosion and mandated that all new roads built by his administration include proper drainage systems linked directly to safe water discharge points. [1] • •Site-Specific Control Projects: His administration executed flood and gully erosion control works in specific communities, such as constructing a 6-kilometer network of concrete drains and a reinforced concrete channel in Adazi Nnukwu to route water safely into the Inway River, as well as undertaking interventions in Umo Equilobia and Amobia village. [1] • •Creation of NEWMAP (Nigeria Erosion and Watershed Management Project): According to former Environment Minister John Odey, Obi was instrumental in pushing for and helping establish NEWMAP, a World Bank-backed project designed to finance and manage gully erosion across affected Nigerian states. [1] • •Federal Intervention Advocacy: Obi repeatedly appealed to the federal government for ecological funds and special assistance to tackle the state's severe erosion crises, linking road construction projects with erosion mitigation efforts. [1, 2] • Political Debates and Criticisms •Criticisms: Political opponents—including President Bola Tinubu—have criticized Obi's record, alleging that his administration did not do enough to permanently halt the thousands of active gully erosion sites across Anambra State. [1, 2] • •Supporters' Defense: Supporters maintain that Obi faced a massive, geologically fragile crisis with limited state resources, making structural interventions like drainage reform and championing the World Bank NEWMAP initiative significant steps for the region. 🇳🇬 DID YOU KNOW? In 2014, former Minister of Environment, John Odey, credited former Anambra State Governor Peter Obi with playing an instrumental role in the creation of the Nigeria Erosion and Watershed Management Project (NEWMAP). The project was established to address severe soil erosion, land degradation and related environmental challenges across Nigeria. #StatiSense
You want to compare my brain with that of Peter Obi? He ran away from erosion in Anambra and now wants to be president, president of where? Lilikabu. - President Tinubu
