If you didn't know, on May 2026, an X user stole $200,000 through an AI agent with just a tweet.
Here's how it happened. 👇👇
Someone hid a command on a morse code, and told Grok to translate it. Grok decoded it and passed it to Bankrbot, an AI agent that executes onchain transactions from posts on X.
The AI agent read, trusted, and moved $200k in tokens.
The kind of problem 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗺𝗽𝘁 𝗶𝗻𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 creates.
One hidden instruction inside what your agent reads = $200k LOST.
As someone exploring Web3 and AI video creation, this makes me think differently about the agents we're building.
It's not enough for an AI agent to understand what it's reading. It also needs to know what NOT to trust.
This is why @GenLayer's Greyboxing caught my attention.
Instead of trusting one AI model, GenLayer uses Greyboxing.
Instructions can't reach your agents directly.
Every validator rewrites the input before its AI model sees it.
Even if one validator gets fooled, the others can reject the decision.
