For many of our friends, democracy = politics
Then they find out democracy is fake, so they assume politics is fake
But actually democracy being fake means that politics is way more real than you thought

Because indians at Meta control hiring and when they hire fellow indians they demand kickbacks and make 20% of the salary of the indian they hire.
We acquired a company once who we believe was doing this before we acquired them. After I took over I looked into the recruiting software they were using and it had an auto-rejection rule based on race. The only ethnicity that didn't get auto-rejected was indians.
I expect if you did a real investigation into these tech companies you would find something similar in each one. Wondering why you can send thousands of job applications and never get a single interview? This is why.

American-made products are not impossible. Stories about iPhones costing $37,000 or laptops costing $100,000 are psy-ops, sometimes pushed by foreign adversaries but more commonly by American corporations that want anything but an upset to the status quo.
Palmer Luckey says companies are exaggerating the cost of American manufacturing to justify staying in China: βThey donβt want to admit that it is a choice.β πΊπΈπ¨π³
βI donβt have a lot of sympathy for people who pretend that manufacturing in the U.S. is this impossible, order-of-magnitude problem. A lot of it is very self-serving.
They want to justify why theyβre in China. They want to justify why itβs OK for them to stay in China. They know that when sanctions hit as a result of a potential Taiwan conflict, they want to say, βNobody couldβve predicted this, and I had no choice anyway.β
They donβt want to admit that it is a choice.
If Chinese subsidized steel is a third of the price of American unsubsidized steel, a tariff isnβt going to work. But if the price difference really is 30%, then a tariff could bring the American steel industry back.
Itβs critically important to get this question right, and there arenβt enough people talking about it.β
βYeah you can just leave the package there. Thanksβ
