Classic tale of finding someone to blame, it ain’t no way your sister can borrow against something legally in your name unless you gave authorization.
Evander Holyfield earned about $250 million in the ring. He lost his 109 room mansion to foreclosure. He says the person who borrowed against it was his own sister.
The mansion in Georgia had 109 rooms, 17 bathrooms, three kitchens and a bowling alley. Keeping it running reportedly cost him millions a year.
By 2012 he owed more than $14 million on it. The bank foreclosed and he was evicted. It sold at auction for a reported $7.5 million.
That same year he owed more than $372,000 in back child support for some of his 11 children.
Then came the auction of his life. Over 500 items, including his championship rings and the gloves from the night Mike Tyson bit his ear.
In the video below he explains what happened to the house. One of his family members took out a loan on it. His sister.
He says he never pressed charges. She was older, almost like a mother to him.
I made too much money to stoop that low, he says.
His sister borrowed against his house. He let it go.
Would you have pressed charges?
Aye I’ve been crying laughing at TikTok Michael Jackson all morning, he the algorithm right now lmao
