Data resilience comes down to a principle our CEO, @BronGondwana, wrote over ten years ago: the primary copy is gold. Back it up, replicate it.
In April, it got tested. A bug wiped mailboxes for 8 accounts. Backups brought it all back.

AI assistants now read and action our emails for us. Useful, and it changes the question we ask: not "did it arrive?" but "can we trust where it came from?" That is what SPF, DKIM and DMARC are for.
