To put the bike lane debate in Toronto in perspective, more people commute by bike each day in Toronto than the entire population that lives in Barrie, Ontario. Or Kingston. Or Guelph. Or Sudbury.
It's pretty rich that the Province wants to tell us how to get around our own city. If they don't like sitting in traffic when they get here, they should go fix regional transit. That is their mess - and the true culprit for congestion in the city.
Anyone who understands physics knows that cyclists are part of the solution.

Enough is enough. This encampment is a breeding ground for anti-semitism. It is unsafe, illegal, and is in daily violation of the University of Toronto's Code of Conduct.
For the sake of the reputation of the university and the safety and well-being of its students and faculty, remove the encampment now.

Very saddened to see this antisemitism all over our city. This one hits home as its where my siblings and I had our Bar and Bat Mitzvahs, and where Rabbi Joe Kanofsky so gently presided over my late Grandmother's funeral and unveiling.
