Tonight, my wife and I made corn chowder using fresh corn from Bob’s Corn, and a recipe courtesy of Anne Burrell (RIP). Will be saving this recipe for sure, and highly recommend it to anyone that is a fan of corn.

IFR training with a student, working on flying approach procedures. The AATD sim is just awesome (and affordable) for initial training. Logan is making great progress. Give this a like or leave a comment if you like these little debriefs.
Just more “climate change” for the failed single-party state of Washington created by @JayInslee and @BobFergusonGov
Stop propping up false narratives. Your party fails at just about everything and expects citizens to pay for a “fix” that’ll never happen because it’s run by career politicians that get elected by morons. The only fix here is the one you probably gave this individual prior to them setting a fire in a dumpster.
🚨#BREAKING: I have obtained footage of what appears to be a homeless person in Spokane WA setting fire to a DUMPSTER yesterday morning.
According to multiple witnesses, this individual set similar fires at several locations across the city.

🚨MAJOR SCOOP: Email obtained via FOIA shows Julie Wise, the Democrat-endorsed Director of Elections for King County, WA, ADMITTING that non-citizens were being registered to vote when getting a driver's license.
She then voices concern that the problem may be bigger than what the reports showed.
The thing that Democrats say doesn't happen, has been happening for YEARS!
My wife had an odd disengagement of V14 Lite yesterday. Doesn’t show her touching the pedals or wheel in the video, and said as she rounded the corner the system just stopped and then asked why she disengaged. She didn’t touch the stalk, wheel, or pedals. No red hands or vehicle notifications about system issues, so this is a mystery I haven’t seen.
Hoping I have a way of giving @elonmusk @Tesla and @aelluswamy permission to pull metrics from the vehicle to see what was going on.
I drove later that same day and loved the new FSD, without any issues.
I posted this on a post from @SawyerMerritt as well, but think it may get more visibility if I can get some of the Tesla centric crowd tagged on here. @DirtyTesLa @WifeDirtyTesla @AIDRIVR @jeremyjudkins_ @Teslaconomics @NotATeslaApp
The time is nigh for V14 Lite on our 2023 Model Y. Thank you @tesla @aelluswamy and most importantly @DirtyTesLa since he controls all rollouts via DMs.

Hey @googlenesthelp @Google, why would I take the time to set a schedule for my HVAC system just to have it overridden by your “logic” thinking a 10-min cycle would be wasting too much energy? I’m not aware of any setting that allows me to override this, and it is stupid for it to exist in Western Washington state where we have a few hot days per year. It’s set for 69, and your system set it at 70 without notifying me, giving me the option to approve the change, or letting me know it was placing itself into ECO mode to save 10-min.
Either, allow us to choose a schedule and not worry about these issues, or a toggle that allows these changes based on user approval first.

Elon Musk just said the one thing about America they made sure you’d never learn.
The one thing that should’ve made you proud, not ashamed.
Musk: “After World War 2, the US could have basically taken over the world and any country. Like we got nukes, nobody else got nukes. We don’t even have to lose soldiers. Which country do you want?”
One nation held a weapon no civilization had ever possessed.
Total monopoly on destruction. No rival. No consequence. No limit.
Every empire in history that held that kind of power did the only thing empires know how to do.
They took until there was nothing left to take.
America had a greater advantage than all of them combined.
And rebuilt the nations it just defeated.
Musk: “The United States actually helped rebuild countries. So it helped rebuild Europe, it helped rebuild Japan. This is very unusual behavior, almost unprecedented.”
Not almost unprecedented.
It had never happened. Not once in 5,000 years of recorded civilization.
The nation with the power to take everything chose to rebuild instead.
Enemies became allies. Rubble became economies. Surrender became partnership.
Germany went from ashes to the economic engine of Europe in a single generation.
Japan went from unconditional surrender to the third largest economy on earth.
Three years after the war, America was flying food into Berlin.
Into the capital of the country that just tried to end the free world.
That decision reshaped every economy, every alliance, and every trade route on the planet.
Billions of people lifted out of poverty over the next half century trace back to one moment. One nation choosing restraint over domination.
No other country in history can make that claim. Not one.
Musk: “There’s always like, well America’s done bad things. Well of course America’s done bad things, but one needs to look at the whole track record.”
Every nation on earth has blood in its history.
But the measure of a nation was never its worst chapter.
It’s what it does when nobody can stop it.
When nobody could stop America, it fed its enemies and rebuilt their cities.
You’re being told every day that this country is something to be ashamed of.
By people who have no idea what the world looks like without it.
Every free market. Every open border for trade. Every democracy that took root outside Europe stands in the shadow of that single decision.
The values that built this country didn’t just shape America.
They shaped the modern world.
AI is about to hand a small number of people a power advantage that makes nuclear monopoly look primitive.
1945 was the first test.
AI is the last.
That power is going to exist. The only question left is who holds it.
The most powerful thing America ever did wasn’t building the bomb.
It was having the power to take everything and choosing not to.
The people trying hardest to tear that story down have never built a single thing worth defending.

From simulator, to IMC, on her first real IFR training flight. We get “real deal” weather here in Homer, Alaska, so I like my students to see the real thing. Garmin avionics make it much more doable.
Do you love working in the clouds? Have you done it much? Or am I sick for loving it?

Today Obama praised people for attempting to stop ICE from doing its job.
When he was running for President in 2008 Obama slammed Bush for not doing more to stop illegal immigration.
The Divider In Chief is such a fraud.
We are on AI3 but this is incredible to see. This opossum was saved tonight because of FSD. @DirtyTesLa @WifeDirtyTesla @jeremyjudkins_
