Dear friends, I unfortunately need to ask for help and support this Christmas season. Australian authorities keep demanding that I pay a $24,000 penalty for holding a blank sign outside the Brisbane Chinese Consulate in 2022. I tried to challenge them in court to win a free speech precedent but we unfortunately lost and they now seek to crush me financially. The debt compounds at 10.35% a year and I simply don’t have the money to pay it as I only have a few thousand in personal savings. I previously offered to serve prison time in exchange for clearing the debt but the Brisbane authorities refused my offer, saying that we no longer have workhouses in society. Anyway, if you appreciate the political work that I do, and like the stands that I take, please consider supporting me. I would be really thankful for even the smallest donations. I started a GoFundMe here: gofund.me/333c7a5bd And I also have a PayPal and Donorbox at this link: link.me/drewpavlou Thank you so much. Honestly this situation is so fucking retarded and stressful, I fucking wish that I didn’t have to ask for donations because I would prefer not giving them a cent, but the debt just hangs over me constantly and it sucks.
