Russia is extremely ethnically diverse.
Let's assume Yuktobania is entirely based on Russia, her dad looked Uzbek with some east Asian heritage. Tasha could've been a "mix racial" kid.
Back when I taught for a bit, I had a student from Primorsky who looked like he spoke Chinese but doesn't.
Upon inquiry, I found his family to have lived in Russia for at least 4 generation.
And don't forget about Viktor Tsoi, whose father was a Koryoin (ethnic Korean) and his mother a Russian.
The least believable thing about Ace Combat 8 is that they put this girl in front of you and tell you with a straight face she's Russian.
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
Anastasia “Tasha” Seversakya is from the Union of Yuktobanian Republics - a fictional nation - not the Russian Federation.

I typically draw mil/tactical stuff, it's kinda uncommon for me to do compositions with multiple characters but here's some of em that I've drawn in the past
We beat up a grandpa in AC7
We beat up a cripple in AC8
If we beat up a paraplegic in AC9, imma lose it...
Learning a thing or two from Castro
Used to cut up cigar butts like he did but I find jamming it in your pipe works way better
