The Red Sox have moved the start times for their weekend series against the Chicago Cubs at Fenway Park. Sunday’s originally scheduled game will move to Friday, September 25 at 1:05 p.m. as the first game of a split doubleheader. Friday’s originally scheduled contest will move up to 6:05 p.m. The change was made in consultation with Major League Baseball and the Chicago Cubs due to the forecast of a major nor’easter expected to bring heavy rain, high winds, and potential flooding to the region during the weekend. The new start times are expected to provide the best opportunity to play the final series of the regular season this weekend. Tickets for the originally scheduled games will be good for admission at the newly scheduled times. All games will be televised on NESN and will be broadcast in English on WEEI 93.7 FM and in Spanish on WESX 1230 AM/WCCM 1490 AM.
