yeah, I'm _that_ FalconFour. Give your chrome-trimmed Model 3 a CCS retrofit here: teslamotorsclub.com/tmc/threβ¦
Here to answer your questions -- at least on the alternating days I'm poking my head into the broken state of Twitter.
I still browse to tw*tter dot com to get here each time out of protest for the world's worst rebrand
Just scrolling around *itter for the first time in quite some time, and y'all need Jesus. And by Jesus I mean "disengage ya fricking FSD when you see something stupid being done". jfc y'all need Jesus so bad ππ

Soo hey @robotaxi what's going on here? Can't book a ride anymore because everywhere I try to set a pickup, it snaps to some other random place 30-minute walk away. Walking to a bus stop is faster π and the destination is still correct. Y'all got a maps/pin issue?
Seems like a keepout zone a certain popular area might be leaking out into unintended areas. DM me for details @robotaxi β€οΈ
The EV world is officially SHOOK. Things starting to get interesting as the first (legitimately) privately-owned GM EV1 comes to life - after a lifetime of neglect & decay... "you just forgot one thing - you can't kill an idea whose time has come". youtu.be/ahcvx1L1oBo
Might also be a good time to share the EV Time Capsule VHS collection... a very unique tape I was given to digitize, and digitize I did - about a month of work. Obscure mid-90s EVs abound! youtube.com/playlist?list=PLβ¦
Man, it's wild to poke my head into Xitter and see an endless scroll of Tesla posts, many different takes on the subject du jour (like today, CarPlay in Tesla). Today all I care is that my DC power export keeps working. idk how to survive w/o slurping battery dry every night lol
So I did a thing... owners of Spark EV rejoice as a dead Spark can likely be revived. GM is probably quite ashamed of their BMS design but can't seem to convince them to recall/fix it. It's just software. reddit.com/r/SparkEV/commentβ¦
haha holy shit @FalconryFinance i thought you blocked me ages ago over some bullshit argument, it's cool to see you again βοΈβ€οΈ
I just can't help but wonder. A whole line of cars can be taken off the road and crushed (ElectraMeccanica Solo) just because the motor might overheat and lose power on the road. But the Spark EV can have a similar problem, caused by software, and GM won't acknowledge/fix it?
In GM's case it's way, way worse. Not only does the car die without warning (gauge shows miles remaining), but the software makes the car die "permanently" with a Type-A fault that can't be cleared without dealer tools. And the dealers are incompetent & don't know how to fix it.
So I bought a Spark EV for funsies and already bricked and unbricked the battery, then I found the "hoon" button
