Sad to see this hazard of the job
The number of UK police officers signed off work due to stress, depression, anxiety or post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) in the last year has risen by a staggering 9.5%. The figure is a huge 209% higher than when the survey was first run 13 years ago policeoracle.com/article-lib…

Wall of remembrance
There is one thing we keep hearing from families who have lost someone to police suicide: “We don’t want them to be forgotten.” That is exactly why the new online Wall of Remembrance is so important. The feedback from families has been incredibly positive. Each profile is led by the family. Their photographs, memories and their words, remembering the person behind the police uniform. If you have lost a loved one to police suicide, please get in touch privately. We’d be happy to show you what we’ve created and talk you through it, with absolutely no obligation. We will be launching the new platform on Monday 19th October.

Congratulations on your 22 years of ROC!
🎉 ROC IS TURNlNG 22! 🎉 22 years ago, Redeeming Our Communities was founded with a simple but powerful vision: to bring about community transformation through strategic, positive partnerships. From our very first project to over 220 active hubs and initiatives across the UK today, we’ve been working on the ground alongside local authorities, emergency services, churches, and amazing volunteers to alleviate isolation, support families, and offer fresh hope to young people. Whether it's through the community hub at The FUSE, mentoring, or looking out for people via our ROC Angels, we are so incredibly proud of the impact we've made together. 🎂 Thank you to every single person who has volunteered, partnered with us, or supported our mission over the last 22 years. Here’s to many more! 👉 Want to be a part of our next chapter? Important to remember those who’ve last their lives in the line of duty
It is the greatest honour as Policing Minister to meet the families whose loved ones have been killed in service. Today I have had the privilege to stand with families, colleagues and representatives from our four nations to remember those we have lost. We will not forget.

Praying for all concerned
APPEAL | Detectives are appealing for information following a stabbing in Liverpool city centre in the early hours of this morning, Sunday 20 September. At around 6.35am, officers were called to Tithebarn Street after three men were found injured. All three victims have been taken to hospital for assessment. Two are in a stable condition and the third sustained minor injuries. CCTV, forensic and witness enquiries continue and cordons are in place on Tithebarn Street, Eberle Street and Temple Lane. It is initially believed that the incident took place outside the G-Bar on Eberle Street. Detective Chief Inspector Lisa McNaughton said: “We understand the concern that such a serious incident will cause in the community. This is why it is so vital that anyone with information comes forward as a matter of urgency. It appears that some form of altercation broke out near to G-Bar, resulting in the three victims sustaining injuries. “The suspected weapon has been recovered and will be forensically examined. We will do all we can to identify the person responsible and support the victims as this investigation progresses. If you saw or captured any part of this incident, let us know and we will take action. “The consequences of this incident could have been even worse so be assured that we will relentlessly pursue the offender. You will see an increased police presence carrying out enquiries so speak to us with any information or concerns.” Anyone with information should contact Merseyside Police social media desk via X or Facebook @MerPolCC. You can also report information via our website: orlo.uk/IUg2d or by calling 101 quoting incident reference 26000771554. Alternatively, contact the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111, or via their website here: orlo.uk/IizzA orlo.uk/viFZM
