I mean how was the ending not seeing a Penguin waddling off in the distance?
John Carpenter says nobody has figured out the ending of The Thing correctly yet "Every idea that people have is not the right one, I know the right one... no one has guessed it" xitter.cf/AcademyMuseum/status/2…

Just in a flashback scene it would have worked maybe with Han, Leia and Luke discussing Ben - nuts they didn't do that.
"I said, 'aren't we gonna have a moment where all three of us get together and raise the roof, it'll only take thirty seconds.' And JJ said, 'well, Mark, it's not Luke's story anymore.' ... Anyway, nobody listens to me." - Mark Hamill. 🎬 In case you missed it, read more: screenrant.com/star-wars-mar…

Think I will protest by not voting in this election - tired of America's Bi-Polar Politics where voters keep changing their minds every 2 years - y'all wanted Trump back so you are stuck with him for 4 years, no asking for the Democrats to bail you out again - so call me in 2028.

I mean, didn't Disney already do that trapped in a Whale movie with Pinocchio? 🤨
Disney’s WHALEFALL bombed at just $8M domestically and an atrocious $17.5M debut worldwide. Holding a $60M budget, it needed $150M to break even. Since bought by Disney, 20th Century had its Marvel IPs stripped away and accumulates numerous bombs.

Documentaries are movies - and for the record Letterboxd also has TV Mini-series and TV movies.
And folks, here's the problem with Letterboxd not separating movies from tv shows and documentaries.

Movie #203 - Down and Out in Beverley Hills - Nick Nolte who was in 48 Hrs. - 'He is gonna give that Dog Fleas' - Good Dog: Matisse HM: Kerouac - This movie gives the wrong messages about Homelessness by trivializing it but it is an entertaining 80's comedy & the dog is adorable.

It is the opening weekend, check back in 50 years when that movie is as old as Jaws and The Godfather.
You Can See Everything has debuted with a 4.7 rating and is now the highest rated feature film on Letterboxd.

lol - Please explain how LeBron Jame is not the GOAT again? 🐐
LeBron James had completed two NBA seasons before VJ Edgecombe was even born. Now they’re projected to start together for the Sixers. That’s just one of the unexpected connections in Philadelphia’s new lineup: trib.al/qYlHbtE

Deploying the military against Bears? 🙄🤨🙄 - The problem is Humans not the Bears, The Bears are just doing what Bears do while Humans destroy their habitat, they are trying to survive - Japan should send their wildlife people to Alaska to see how Bears & people can coexist. 🐻
Bear attacks are on the rise in Japan, and authorities have tried just about everything to protect people. Staging safety drills. Loosening hunting restrictions. Even deploying the military. So the now country is turning to technology. wapo.st/4s6cM1s

Digger really is the only film released this month that I have any interest in seeing, so I am not getting the mad rush to pull it from theaters, but I guess that just means I will be able to own it on DVD sooner.

The Irony is that in destroying Physical medial Netflix ended up destroying itself as the little red envolope was what set Netflix apart and made it special - now it is just another streaming site, and steamers like Disney, Amazon Prime and HBO max are better streaming options.
If Netflix is starting to look nervous, Hollywood should probably pay attention. In the span of basically 48 hours, Netflix laid off around 1,000 employees, pushed out Chief Content Officer Bela Bajaria, and brought in Peter Rice, the former Disney executive who was once viewed as a potential Bob Iger successor. Rice now inherits Netflix’s roughly $20 billion content operation. That is not a minor reshuffle. Netflix is still the king of paid streaming. It changed how the entire entertainment industry works. And yet its stock has been getting hammered, engagement growth has slowed, and now leadership is clearly trying to reset the content machine. Peter Rice might be exactly the guy they need. But that’s also what should scare people. Because if Netflix, of all companies, is feeling enough pressure to cut 1,000 jobs and replace the person running content, then the entertainment business in 2026 is a hell of a lot more fragile than people want to admit. The king of the hill is still standing. But who knows for how much longer?

Brand new Day was released this Summer and is the all time Box office Champion - Jaws was relased 50 years ago and was the Box offoce champion back then - so that Jaws has a 3.9 rating after 50 years is pretty impresssive annd not a big deal Brand New Deal has a similar rating.
