I finally started learning how to play Warhammer 40k this past week. I've done 2 games so far. Tonight I'm playing against @BurkeBlack, who has literally been playing since the 1980s. Emperor protect me, this is gonna be rough 😅

So this just happened to me as well. Hundreds of messages being spammed in every discord channel, and there is no ban button because it's an application, not a user. Banning the user who started it does not immediately remove the app or its messages either. Thankfully in my case there was no CSAM involved, but it easily could have been. Either way it's still annoying to go through every channel and remove hundreds of hateful racist messages one by one. I was unaware that this feature even existed til yesterday - apparently this has been as issue for a while now, but I don't spend much time browsing social media and missed the memo. This might be old news to some of you. For the rest of you: Server settings > Roles > Default Permissions > (scroll all the way to the bottom) > disable Use External Apps. That feature defaults to Enabled ever since Discord introduced it and is easily abused.

It's been a while since I threw some dice, but today we're fixing that. Brand new D&D adventure starting now over on @tablestory 's twitch channel, with yours truly as a regular cast member.
