The comment 🤣😭
The first time a girl visited me, the moment she walked in, she asked me for a shirt. Novice me didn’t understand, so I asked, “Why?” I saw the disappointment on her face. You would think I’d get the hint, right? Nope. I asked if something had happened to her. She then told me she was going to sleep over. Later that night, she wore this sexy dress and said she was cold and needed some warmth. Crazy me went looking for a sweater and gave it to her. She looked even more disappointed. I still didn’t understand. When it was time to sleep, I brought out a bedsheet, spread it on the floor, and slept off. The next morning, she didn’t even wait until 6 a.m. She woke up at 5, took her bath, and left. I was a virgin. It all made sense to me years later.

You want bigger glutes and a smaller waist But are you eating to support muscle growth, or are you constantly trying to make the number on the scale smaller? Because those are not always the same strategy Building your glutes requires training, sufficient nutrition and recovery Reducing body fat generally requires a sustained energy deficit Depending on your starting point, you may be able to work towards both through body recomposition, but the rate of progress varies Stop assuming that eating less and doing more cardio is automatically the answer to every body goal Your plan should match the body composition you’re trying to achieve
1. You want a flat stomach, defined abs and round glutes But you’re treating all three goals as if they require the same approach They don’t Let’s break down what you actually need to do, because some of the things keeping you stuck might be the exact things you think are helping you A thread 🧵

I want women to become more comfortable paying attention to their bodies. Know what your usual menstrual cycle looks like. Pay attention to changes in your breasts. Notice persistent changes in your skin, discharge, energy levels or general wellbeing. If something feels different and the change persists, find out whether it needs medical attention instead of immediately assuming it’s stress, hormones or something you ate. You do not need to become a medical professional to understand your own body. You need to know your usual patterns, recognise meaningful changes and feel confident enough to ask questions when something doesn’t seem right. And please, don’t wait until a problem becomes unbearable before seeking help. Self-awareness is not self-diagnosis. It is knowing when to investigate.

A Let’s start with the girls who want bigger, rounder glutes Because I need you to understand something You can spend an entire year doing hip thrusts, squats and kickbacks and still see very little growth if your training isn’t giving your muscles enough reason to grow And no, the answer isn’t always to add more exercises First, are you actually progressing? If you lifted 10kg for 12 repetitions last month and you’re still lifting that same weight for the same repetitions with the same level of effort, what has changed? Your glutes need progressive resistance. As you get stronger, your training should gradually become more challenging while your technique remains good Second, are you eating enough? You cannot consistently under-eat, struggle through your workouts and expect your body to build muscle optimally. You need sufficient energy, protein and recovery Third, are you giving your muscles time to grow? You don’t need to train your glutes hard every single day. Properly programmed sessions, followed by adequate recovery, can take you much further than constantly exhausting yourself And please, stop changing your entire workout every week because you saw another girl’s routine Pick a sensible programme. Track your weights and repetitions. Improve your technique. Eat to support your goal Your glutes don’t need another random workout They need a reason to adapt If you’ve been training your glutes for months without seeing much progress, start by checking these three things: your progression, your nutrition and your recovery

5. Now, about your stomach Doing 100 crunches every day will not selectively burn the fat around your waist Ab exercises strengthen your abdominal muscles, but where your body stores and loses fat is influenced by factors including genetics and overall energy balance You cannot choose exactly where fat comes off first 6. And please, don’t starve yourself trying to make your abs visible while expecting your glutes to grow optimally Muscle growth requires adequate nutrition, sufficient protein, progressive resistance training and recovery A calorie deficit can help with fat loss, but an unnecessarily aggressive deficit can make muscle retention, training and recovery harder Your strategy needs to match your goal 7. You also do not need to spend two hours in the gym to get results A focused workout with a sensible selection of exercises, challenging sets and a progression plan can be more useful than two hours of random exercises At home or in the gym, what matters is whether your training provides enough challenge and progresses over time 8. Here’s a practical place to start: • Strength train 3 days per week if that fits your experience and schedule • Train your lower body at least twice weekly, allowing recovery between demanding sessions • Include upper-body exercises instead of ignoring the rest of your body • Track your exercises, resistance and repetitions • Eat enough to support your goal, with regular sources of protein • Get adequate sleep and allow your muscles to recover Start with what you can sustain, then build 9. And stop changing your entire workout routine every week because you saw a new exercise on Instagram Give a sensible programme time to work. Record your progress. Improve your technique. Increase the challenge when you can do so safely You need enough consistency to know whether your programme is actually working 10. One more thing: your fitness journey does not need to look like another woman’s Your starting point, training experience, genetics, nutrition, health and recovery all influence your results You can work towards stronger glutes, a more defined physique and better fitness without punishing yourself in the process 11. I want to make this page genuinely useful to women who are tired of guessing So tell me which one you need help with first: A. Growing your glutes B. Losing belly fat C. Getting defined abs D. Knowing what to eat for your goal E. Building a home workout routine Comment with your answer. Let’s start there

Hey guys, if you come across his post, please help and support him. His wife was involved in a hit-and-run accident, and he needs all the support he can get right now. He shares a lot of value on this platform, and this is one way we can show up for him when he needs us. I’ve sent a little something to support him. If you can’t contribute financially, please help retweet and amplify his post. Every little bit of support counts. 🤲🏾
Please Everyone, I need your help. From the accident, she has fractures in her hand, leg, and pelvic region. The doctor said the surgery will cost about ₦5 million. It is extensive and will be done in two phases. First they will operate on her hand and leg. When she recovers from that, they will do the pelvic region. It has been a painful experience. We have already spent so much on drugs and medications just to keep her stable this far. The pain is still there every day. A lot of you have followed this from the day of the accident. You have seen the updates. You know what this has been like. Please, if your heart can move you, even ₦1k, ₦2k, ₦5k, ₦10k, or ₦20k from you will help us. Every little bit carries weight right now. Kuda Microfinance Bank 2004212740 Ekpo Richard Unwana If you want to confirm or even visit to see how she is doing, please call or WhatsApp me on 08014616027. Please help me share this too. I need the support. Thank you for reading this far.

You do not need to eat clean 100% of the time to lose weight You need an eating pattern you can actually maintain Your diet shouldn’t collapse because you attended a birthday party on Saturday (yesterday) 👀

If you cannot afford a gym membership right now, I don’t want you thinking your fitness journey has to wait You can build strength at home But let me be honest with you: repeating the same easy bodyweight exercises forever may not provide enough resistance for continued muscle growth, especially as you become stronger Start with movements you can perform properly. Progress your repetitions, use harder variations, and introduce resistance bands, dumbbells or a loaded backpack when appropriate. You do not need an expensive gym to start You do need a plan that grows with you
