// A brief update. I am on Mastodon now, but I have not yet created a "Silhouette" account. It is the equivalent of moving from a city to a small town. It has its advantages and disadvantages. 1/2
// When/if I create an account, I will send the link here. I don't expect anyone to follow me over, but I don't think I can post here. Ursula wouldn't give her support to Musk, and I won't either. 2/2
Regina asked me if I intended to stay on Twitter if Mr. Musk purchases it. I might not be on Twitter, but I am always out there, in the shadows. Perhaps you will see my silhouette, if only for a second.
Hollis once told me to be careful, "or you might end up buried in some ditch somewhere." My response? "My life matters, what happens to my corpse at the end doesn't. I will vanish like smoke."
I was once interrogating someone and I said, "I simply don't believe you. This is the second time I've caught you in a lie." To which he responded, "This was not a lie! It might have been a false fact, but it wasn't a lie!"

Why do people hate feminism? In the end, it comes down to one truth - feminism is /rebellion/. When you speak up, when you assert your dignity, the sort of people who assume that they control you will hate you. The only way to keep them from hating you is not to speak at all.
Getting Sophie to look nice is always a struggle. I keep telling her that looking nice serves the same purpose as a bullet proof vest - if you dress nicely, some people will think that you have money, and therefore, that you have power.
White Christian males can be slobs and no one thinks the lesser of it. Women, even White women, rarely have that sort of luxury - unless they are known to be /extremely rich/ in which case it will be passed off as a quirk.
I remember when the war was declared in 1939. To 'celebrate', I found a ship docked at a New York pier bearing the Hakenkreuz. It's amazing what a small amount of explosives will do; there was little trade between the two countries by that time. That ship wouldn't be missed.
How did I gain entrance into high society? I was 21 years old, newly orphaned, with a fortune but that wasn't really enough. My 'debut' concerned a long forgotten game called The Jury Box. 1/5
A young man whose name you won't know wanted to provide the two photographs with each new game. All of this "got me in". I now had a reputation as an 'entertainer' and strove mightily to maintain it. 4/5
