Dat is fors hoger: stichting-merito.be/post/beg…

We will all soon know what it feels like to be Jewish. In France, they already do. It will be our just deserts for having abandoned the Jews, ignored their warnings, turned against them, and even marched alongside their oppressors. For three years, you useful idiots have been parading Palestinian flags, sporting keffiyehs, screaming “From the River to the Sea”, and recognizing a fictitious Palestinian state as a reward for Hamas’s October 7 massacre (looking at you, @EmmanuelMacron). You have boycotted the only Jewish state in the world, vilified the Jewish people’s right to self-determination (aka “Zionism”), and spread the “Gaza genocide” blood libel. Did you really think that if you fed the crocodile enough Jewish flesh, it would eventually be satiated? All you have done is embolden the monster and whet its appetite. So you were worried about “colonization”? Look around. The only thing being colonized here are our own Western cities. The Palestinian flag has become a victory banner, proudly waved amid the ruins of looted and vandalized historic buildings—a symbol of hatred for our civilization and everything it stands for. It never ends with the Jews.

BREAKING NEWS: Billionaire Sir Richard Branson launches a SCATHING attack on Trump and his disgusting coziness with Russian dictator Vladimir Putin. This is EXACTLY the kind of thing that gets under Trump’s skin... "I never thought I’d have to say this in my lifetime, but it’s 2026, and unfortunately, nothing is the way it used to be," wrote Branson, founder of the Virgin Group, on LinkedIn. "The Trump administration has become an enabler of autocrats and dictators, placing their personal whims ahead of the interests of the American people and the free world. What is it about Putin that makes President Trump fawn over him?" "How can America’s allies ever trust this administration again, when it is now turning against them in a time of war and suffering?" he asked. Trump has repeatedly betrayed our Ukrainian allies in recent days. First, he announced a shocking deal with Putin to allow millions of barrels of diesel onto global markets—a move that will inject cash directly into the Russian war machine. Then, he launched a concerted smear campaign against President Zelenskyy, claiming that Putin is "easier to deal with." The betrayals escalated when Washington failed to provide its customary early warning to Kyiv regarding an imminent Russian ballistic missile attack. Now, it appears the White House has ordered a temporary suspension of Starshield—a military version of Elon Musk’s Starlink, upon which the Ukrainian armed forces rely. "The throttling of Starlink/Starshield and the inexplicable failure to provide advance warning of Russian missile launches have already led to the needless deaths of Ukrainian civilians," Branson wrote. "How much worse can it get?" "If one thing is clear, it’s that European leaders must move past the initial shock of Trump’s recent actions and step up. This is as much about European freedom as it is about Ukraine’s sovereignty. Both are worth fighting for," he continued. "Every option should now be on the table—from transferring frozen Russian assets to Ukraine, to delivering advanced weapons systems like the German Taurus." "Why, oh why, is this happening? We cannot allow the free world to be dismantled before our very eyes," Branson concluded. We couldn’t agree more. Trump is an enemy of Ukraine, an enemy of democracy, and an enemy of the American people. When the Democrats regain power, we will have a major task ahead of us. Every trace of this monstrous man’s legacy must be erased. Please ❤️ and share if you think Trump is Putin’s puppet!

It’s safe to say that the immense sacrifice of men and women far better than ourselves during the Second World War has been largely wasted on ungrateful, pathetic, and in some cases evil men and women who managed to turn the capitals of the Europe they fought for into African and Islamic colonies. So shameful. The best of us truly died in those wars.

Slaap zacht, Groenen*

During my audience with King Philippe of the Belgians, I thanked His Majesty, the government, and all the Belgian people for their support of Ukraine. We are now living under constant Russian missile and drone attacks on our cities and communities. And our top priority is strengthening air defense. We count on Belgium’s support in this area, particularly with the delivery of F-16 fighter jets and ammunition for them, which help us defend against Russian jet-powered “shaheds.” And, of course, it is equally important that frozen Russian assets remain immobilized. As long as the war continues, Russia must not receive anything it could invest in further killings and destabilization in Europe. Thank you! @MonarchieBe

Stilte. Geopolitiek zijn we onmachtig.

Putin doesn’t want peace. Putin wants Ukraine. Enough is enough. President Trump should rescind the diesel deal with Russia and return to the strong policies of our four years in the White House; use the Lindsey Graham Sanctioning Russia Act to impose harsh sanctions on any nation purchasing Russian energy and work with our allies to ensure Ukraine has the military support it needs to repel and defeat this Russian invasion once and for all.
At current rates of increase of 2 to 3 ppm a year - it would take centuries for atmospheric CO₂ to reach anywhere close to 1,000 ppm. This represents the upper biological and physiological tolerance limits of many plants. And at these levels, very little else changes, other than a beneficial increase in agricultural produce and a far greener planet. At current annual increases of 2-3 ppm this is unlikely to happen, however, based on current trajectories. This remains a subject of great disagreement. Comparing CO₂ levels to health limits still highlights a glaring belief gap between actual biological tolerance and ideologically driven beliefs. One year ago (in August 2025), current CO₂ atmospheric levels were 425.65 to 425.88 parts per million. The latest reading from the slopes of the Mauna Loa volcano, is 427.80 ppm to 428.28 ppm. These are tiny annual percentage changes. This compares with CO₂ levels ranging from 1,000 and 2,000 ppm during the Age of the Dinosaurs during the Mesozoic Era, 250 to 66 million years ago. This was one of the times of greatest biogical success, and dinosaurs are widely recognised as one of the most successful land animals to have ever lived. Human health thresholds for toxicity only begin to manifest after continuous exposure above 5,000 ppm (0.5%). This puts any and every potential atmospheric threat many orders of magnitude beyond any possible modern projected trajectory. Commercial greenhouse operators intentionally maintain CO₂ concentrations between 1,000 ppm and 1,500 ppm to optimise photosynthetic rates and crop yields. This accelerates biomass production and enhances water-use efficiency by reducing stomatal conductance, directly mirroring the conditions of lush warm-period epochs like the Eocene. Enclosed environmentals like submarines and space stations safely operate under operational guidelines allowing several thousand parts per million. The US Navy sets operational guidelines for submarines of CO₂ concentrations at 3,000–4,000 ppm. NASA maintains threshold limits on the International Space Station around 3,000–5,000 ppm for extended missions. Given that current atmospheric concentrations sit near 425 ppm, atmospheric CO₂ remains far below levels that pose any physiological or biological hazards. Long-term CO₂ emission trajectories show no possible pathway towards the multi-thousand ppm regimes seen in deep geological time. Throughout Earth’s biological history across the Phanerozoic Eon, CO₂ levels have routinely operated at many times today's atmospheric concentrations without exceeding safety thresholds for plant and animal life. During the early Eocene epoch, 56 to 49 million years ago, atmospheric CO₂ ranged from 680 ppm to over 2,000 ppm. This was one of the most successful biological periods in earth's history, with tropical forests throughout them world and the greatest proliferation of life ever seen. Modern terrestrial flora and fauna evolved from lineage baselines adapted to these higher carbon regimes. Plants utilise C₃ crops (trees, rice, wheat) and C₄ (corn, sugarcane, many grasses), for photosynthetic pathways optimised for higher ambient carbon dioxide concentrations. The C₃ species directly capitalise on elevated CO₂, because they lack the low-C₄ mechanisms of later-evolving C₄ plants. IMAGE: Reconstruction of Phanerozoic CO₂ proxy data (such as the GEOCARB models) indicates that atmospheric CO₂ exceeded 4,000 ppm during the Early Paleozoic (Cambrian through Silurian) and fluctuated between 1,000 ppm and 2,000 ppm throughout the Mesozoic Era.
