A thread of #Colts content on @ColtsOn_SI, starting with why it was the correct decision to part ways with longtime GM Chris Ballard after just six weeks. ✍️: @peteremiller si.com/nfl/colts/onsi/the-co…

The Colts Were Right to Fire Chris Ballard

The Indianapolis Colts have finally decided that enough is enough. Following Sunday's embarrassing 26-20 loss to the Tennessee Titans, the franchise fired gener

Chris Ballard was in his 10th season as #Colts GM, and Indianapolis never won the AFC South during his tenure. Every other team in the division—the Texans, Jaguars and Titans—has won it at least twice during that span.

The dream’s been dead, but the experiment needs to end — sooner rather than later. Rip off the band-aid. Show us what accountability truly looks like. It’s the only way you can start to earn back your fanbase’s trust. si.com/nfl/colts/onsi/indian…

Why Colts Should (Finally) Part Ways With GM Chris Ballard

Colts have lost the last 18 of 21 games against teams over .500. There isn’t a more damning stat for this coaching staff and front office.

Can anyone break down why he would do this? Was his assignment to contain the outside? 🤣

Shocker: the Indianapolis #Colts have the worst pass rush in the NFL through five weeks. Indy has totaled 10 sacks (T-19th) but their pressure rate is easily the worst (23.7%), as they are the only defense in the league with a sub-30% pressure rate, according to @NextGenStats.

That should be ball game. Atrocious defensive performance highlighted by missed tackles, horrendous secondary play, and the constant dropping of 8/9 to let Rodgers have all day to throw

Marv is on the move. Location TBD. Would certainly be a lot of fun - and logical given their needs - if it was to the Colts.

Breaking: the Arizona Cardinals are finalizing a deal to trade WR Marvin Harrison, sources tell me and @RapSheet. The team informed Harrison this morning that he will be inactive for Sunday’s game vs Detroit as details of the trade are finalized.

Colts among teams that would entertain the idea of trading for Marvin Harrison Jr., per @joshweinfuss and @HolderStephen. Cardinals "are not shopping" Harrison but other teams are still doing their due diligence.
