Bingo. Starting to wonder if the "Let's subvert everything" crowd can even read.
Made by someone with no understanding of the original myth. Perseus was trying to save his mother from a man trying to marry her by force and Medusa was a Gorgon.

It IS a very telling choice. And I say this less in the political sense and more as an indictment of the (so-called) creators and shills of this blasphemous mockery of a show.
Tolkien created orcs to be so wholly devoid of good that no one could ever sympathize with them They are the agents of evil, unthinking brutes driven only by a desire to destroy that which is good and beautiful because they hate that such things exist So the left sides with them, naturally, and attempts to frame them as sympathetic characters, mainly because it wants to unleash such brutes upon us

There was a time when you didn't have to explain this to people. I miss those days. Also ...
Non religious people cannot understand this. A Paladin historically in classic fantasy receives their power through God's will. God decides to give them the power and God can decide to take it away. Since God is definitively 'Lawful' and 'Good' - (by His commandments we measure morality in the first place) - a Paladin that receives power from Him cannot stray too far from His ethics/commands/will - thus be Lawful and Good. God would refuse his power to those who stray too far. This is the fantasy theme built upon existing religious foundation in Judeo-Christian traditions. Its why its so confusing to people who dont know them/live by them. Eg. If Moses decided that actually God sucks and begin to act morally evil, God would not have performed miracles through him. That being said in D&D where you have multiple deities with multiple ethical gods (dont get me started on the concepts of 'Good' and 'Evil there) - A Paladin that receives a power from a deity must likewise act in line with the deities ethics and will. This entire concept of a Paladin without a deity is as stupid as a warlock without a patron.

THIS. Motivation is a false god.
Motivation shows up maybe twice a month. Stop waiting around for it. Discipline is what you do on the other 28 days. GO TRAIN

Yes. This is why Robert Kirkman's "The Walking Dead" was name after the survivors and not the zombies.
Zombies were never about the dead. They're about the living who stopped participating. They move with the crowd and never ask where it's going. They consume and are never full. They react to every noise and never once reflect. They still have a face. The person behind it is gone. Here is the unsettling part. In every zombie story, the survivors slowly become what they fear. Driven by panic. Ruled by the tribe. Running on reflex. The infection was never the bite. It was the automatic reaction. You don't become a zombie by dying. You become one by obeying a rule you never examined. "I have to." "I can't." "That's just who I am." Your humanity lives in the gap between the trigger and the response. The moment you pause and ask, "Is this actually mine?" That pause is the cure. So tonight, before the costumes come off, ask yourself one question: Which part of my life am I living, and which part am I just repeating? Happy Halloween. Stay awake. 🕯️ #Halloween #zombiesasart #Discernment #Consciousness #Philosophy #SelfAwareness #PersonalGrowth #WakeUp

Yep.
I am 100% positive that if the zombie apocalypse happened right now, there would be zombie rights activists within a week.

Friendly Cat is now a member of the household. Just gotta get him neutered and accustomed to our rambunctious dog before we make him a house cat. Thank God he's super chill.

Yes. And anyone who has read Tolkien knows this. So, the (so-called) creators of this mockery either haven't done so, or they just don't care and are doing that line-blurring, lore-defiling crap that we're so tired of.
Orcs are evil because they are evil monsters. They are created to be evil, by an evil god, to do evil things. They are not a placeholder for a "different culture", they are not a human analog, they are not a "minority". They are biological constructs made to do the bidding of dark god who made them to mock the other races (elves) specifically If your mind can't comprehend that you likely shouldn't engage with LOTR material.

This is a lie that was debunked within hours of it originally hitting the internet. Try and keep up @ABCWorldNews. This is why more and more people don't trust you anymore.

Correct.
LOTR is arguably the single greatest example of moral realism in all of literature. Injecting moral relativism into Middle Earth fundamentally misunderstands Tolkien and flies in the face of everything he stood for. And don't come at me with 'moral complexity.' Relativism isn't complexity. It's confusion. It's a collapse of distinctions that has nothing to offer but meaninglessness and despair. In order to have meaningful 'moral complexity,' you have to establish a distiction between light and dark, right and wrong, good and evil. The complexity arises among characters that must navigate a world where both forces act around, upon, and within them. What modern Hollywood calls 'moral complexity' is actually just the erasing the distinction between good and evil. If a story can't show you light and dark, it can't say anything meaningful about them. Classic storytellers understood this. Modern Hollywood has completely memory holed it.
