NEWS via @CBSNews: The Kennedy-era paint colors on the exterior of aircraft in the U.S. Air Force executive fleet are being replaced with new design in Trump's preferred palette. New Trump colors will appear on donated Qatari jet and two planes Boeing is converting to serve as Air Force One, sources said. Scoop: White House anti-fraud task force targeting abuse of govt-funded programs in California and other states will be led by JD Vance, sources told @CBSNews. Trump intends to sign an EO in coming days. Andrew Ferguson, a federal official whose job is to prevent consumers from being exploited, will be vice chair. My question to the House Speaker today: How does buying Greenland square with NATO and the overwhelming message from the Americans in the election that they care about the economy and issues here at home?
House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) said Greenland "offers a lot" of national security and defense initiatives for the United States when asked whether Secretary Rubio told lawmakers the U.S. plans to buy Greenland.
"That is directly in line with commitments made on the campaign trail by President Trump and all of us to seek American interests first," Johnson told CBS News’ @CHueyBurns.
"That said, does that mean we're going to go send troops into Greenland and take it over? No."During Wednesday's White House briefing, Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt said the option of buying Greenland is being "actively discussed" by the administration.
