To keep firefighters working on the #MosquitoFire, an army of personnel are working behind the scenes. Among the many functions is Ground Support, a team that is fundamental to wildfire suppression because they provide mechanical support for all ground vehicles & heavy equipment.

Sparks from lawnmowers and power equipment DO start wildfires. Be careful on hot, dry days, and be sure to get your equipment checked regularly. Never mow when it’s windy or excessively dry, and always keep a fire extinguisher and shovel nearby. #OnlyYou

Loading up the trailer for the weekend? Sparks caused from improper towing can start a wildfire in the blink of an eye. Make sure your trailer chains are not dragging on the ground and that your tires are properly inflated.

Fireworks are always illegal on public lands, every day of every year. This is not a new policy, as evidenced by this historic photo. Decades later, the messaging struggle continues.
