Finally!!! @kori_markussen
Student: “are you hanging our clay??”
Me: “yes!”
Student: “On this day, October 13th, Ms. Kori Markussen finally hung our art!”
Slightly dramatic seeing we only finished these a week ago 😅 @FREroadrunners @artk12risd @richardsonisd @risdvpa #RISDartmatters #risddreamon
@FRERoadrunners on Tuesday, FRE joined in on the #RISDPinkOut in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. #RISDDreamOn #RISDGreatness

Last week, we celebrated our very first House Winner Celebration for the first quarter! Our Roadrunners worked hard, showed their house pride, and represented what it means to be part of our FRE family. We can’t wait to see who wins next! #RoadrunnersRising #RISDDreamOn
Just a little reminder that Forestridge has some of the BEST smiles around! 😁 We’re not trying to be biased or anything… but the evidence is pretty convincing! Our Roadrunners are bringing the smiles every single day! #RoadrunnersRising #RISDDreamOn

Great walkthroughs at Forestridge today! Loved seeing strong lesson internalization, clear success criteria, purposeful modeling, and teachers prompting students to do the cognitive lift. Students were thinking, talking, doing the work. Great instruction in action! #RISDdreamon

Shoutout to one AMAZING Roadrunner who has been absolutely crushing it on morning announcements this week! His energy, personality, humor, and BIG voice have kept us smiling all week long. Keep being YOU! #RoadrunnersRising #RISDDreamOn
House Tickets have been a huge success at FRE! Our Roadrunners are showing off their Safe, Respectful, and Responsible choices and working together to build their house points. We love seeing students take pride in making great choices! #RoadrunnersRising #RISDDreamOn
We see our amazing principal @bmccollum3!!!!
Transform! What an awesome group of principals! The leadership journey never ends. Every leader, every day! #risdDreamOn #risdleadandlearn
Picture Day at FRE was full of smiles, laughs, and lots of personality! Our Roadrunners definitely know how to make picture day fun! P.S.- This was after their official picture :-) #RoadrunnersRising #RISDDreamOn
Flashlights + books + a hallway = the perfect reading adventure! Our 1st graders had a little fun while getting lost in their books. Who says reading has to happen at a desk? #RoadrunnersRising #RISDDreamOn
Little hands, big discoveries! Our Pre K 3 Roadrunners had the best time digging, scooping, and exploring in the sand. Learning through play is always a win! #RoadrunnersRising #RISDDreamOn
One of my favorite parts of PE growing up was the parachute! Seeing our Roadrunners experience that same kind of fun and excitement today brought back all the childhood memories. So fun watching them laugh, play, and make memories of their own! #RoadrunnersRising #RISDDreamOn
Our Roadrunners are learning that saving money can start small! UTB stopped by to talk to our students about the importance of saving and even gave them their very own piggy banks to get started. Building smart money habits starts early!

Collaborative pieces are a beast, but the end result is so worth it! The @FRERoadrunners cafeteria is officially bright, cheerful, and filled with house pride! @artk12risd @richardsonisd @risdvpa #RISDartmatters #RISDVAPK12weareone #TXarted #FREroadrunners #risddreamon
Our 3rd grade Roadrunners put their problem-solving skills to work in the library with a fun Crack the Code Book challenge! They worked together, used critical thinking, and had a blast solving the clues. #RoadrunnersRising #RISDDreamOn
