PBBM pointed out that the Chinese Ambassador's remarks about using force sound like a threat and are completely un-diplomatic.
Because of this, he wants a direct dialogue to clear things up.
True to his style since day one, the President has been consistent in handling these disputes - peaceful and diplomatic.
PBBM will resolutely safeguard our country’s sovereignty without sacrificing regional stability through peaceful communication. ✌️🕊️

Looking at the Chinese Ambassador to the Philippines- and forgive me for being a little undiplomatic - but there’s a Tagalog expression that comes to mind: “Pinaglihi sa sama ng loob.” I know. It’s a rather harsh way of describing someone who seems to radiate bitterness, spite, and ill will. Unfortunately, the way he conducts himself seems to reinforce that impression. @Chinaembmanila

⚠️ Ang Chinese Embassy in Manila at si Jing Quan ba ay diplomats or social media blogger?
Kasing active at kasing asim niya ang mga DDS blogger sa pag post!
😂

If jing quan is so tough, I dare him to walk the streets of Manila alone while shouting “China owns the WPS”.

China no longer speaks, acts and behaves like an equal. It conducts itself arrogantly as a superior above its own neighbors. It uses force against fishermen inside Philippine waters, it answers diplomatic protests with veiled threats, and it believes it is beyond the rule of international law. China is not an equal because, like many imperialist countries before it, it believes it is superior.
If the Chinese embassy is surprised why a former colonized nation such as the Philippines is allergic to the imperialist ambitions of a fellow Asian country, I will quote former Chinese leader Deng Xiaoping's own warning against his country's behavior:
“If one day China should change her color and turn into a superpower, if she too should play the tyrant in the world, and everywhere subject others to her bullying, aggression and exploitation, the people of the world should identify her as social-imperialism, expose it, oppose it and work together with the Chinese people to overthrow it.” - Deng Xiaoping speech at the United Nations, April 10, 1974

WATER CANNON VS CHINESE VESSELS?
Following Taiwan’s use of a water cannon against a Chinese fishing vessel, Manila Rep. Rolando Valeriano wants the government to assess whether the Philippine Coast Guard should consider the same tactic against aggressive Chinese vessels in the West Philippine Sea.
But with the risk of escalating tensions, where should the Philippines draw the line between defending its maritime interests and avoiding confrontation?

Send this monkey home.
Here you are, BBM defending the Philippines from the bullying words of Chinese ambassador Jing Quan. And the Senate also issued a statement against it.
AND THERE YOU ARE, Sara Duterte, our VP, calling us the “TROUBLEMAKER” of Southeast Asia, just because we chose to stand up against China. Pwede ba tayong magmura? PUTANGINA MO SARA! Wala kaming balak magpasakop sa China! Hindi ka namin papayagang ibenta mo kami sa China!

The diplomatic row between the Philippines and China over recent remarks by Chinese Ambassador Jing Quan has spread beyond the executive branch as the Chinese Embassy challenged lawmakers to declare him “persona non grata” and accused journalists and politicians of exaggerating tensions between the two countries.

Ang hirap dito if BBM does not make them understand that actions have consequences mamimihasa ito. Pagtatawanan nito yung Pinas at administration. Even the legislators.
Sabihin niya kay Ping: see I was right. The people in Philippines are scared of us. So we can do what we want to do. Pls give me a raise for my great performance. Nothing will happen to me and nothing will happen. They won’t do nothing!
So kailangan si BBM must move decisively to declare the ambassador as personana non grata then sipain pabalik sa bansa niya.
You have to stand up to bullies or they will just take advantage of you always.
Come on BBM ball is in your court. Do you have the courage of Rizal and Bonifacion to do what is right for the country???
Just do it!!
