FPM is proud to endorse @VictorianGreens candidate @CampbellGomeGrn for the state seat of Northcote.
Won by Labor in 2022 by only 184 votes, Northcote has a fighting chance to elect a genuine left-wing representative & a proud advocate for rights, justice, climate & community.
Profoundly grubby mesh of Lib/Lab, corporate and Israeli interests catalogued here:

History will judge @SenatorWong as just another craven bureaucrat with blood on her hands, but action *in the moment* (e.g. sanctions as soon as our ally committed such a brazen Geneva Convention violation as bombing a civilian hospital) would’ve prevented incalculable slaughter.

Three years ago today. Israel received the message from the international community that it could target hospitals and slaughter civilians and healthcare workers.

Indisputable (and should be guiding) yet rarely expressed principles of journalism:
Former SBS journalist @MaryKostakidis has warned in a timely speech that growing popular discontent "can’t be controlled with repressive institutional behaviour and authoritarian legislative measures".
"Just as you can’t stop an oppressed group of people from rising up against its oppressors, the rest of us can’t allow our conscience to be criminalised, and so we will not be intimidated into silence."

“Our solidarity must be felt, and our demands heard. We need arms embargoes, boycotts, divestments and sanctions with real teeth.”
This week marks 3 years of Israel’s live-streamed genocide.
1,100 days of Israel’s genocide have passed, yet the killing continues. And it’s not just in Gaza. In the West Bank right now, state backed “settlers”/terrorists are burning, illegally seizing land, and terrorising families with full military protection. Israel is also committing genocide in southern Lebanon, including my family’s village of Bint Jbeil.
Join your local rally on October 11th to march for the Global Day of Action for Gaza.
Take to the streets on 11 October, joining people around the world for the Global Day of Action for Palestine.
Our solidarity must be felt, and our demands heard. We need arms embargoes, boycotts, divestments and sanctions with real teeth.
We need political consequences that actually hurt these genocidal bastards.
We need to end Australia’s complicity in genocide.
We need to smash through the media complicity.
Fuck the Zionist lobby and their supporters. Fuck genocide apologists.
Stand for Palestinian freedom and liberation.
Bring your friends, your family and your determination.
Find your local rally and show up for Palestine.
From the river to the sea, Palestine will be free.
Long live the resistance! Glory to the martyrs!✊🏽❤️

The only reason there is violence in Palestine is Israeli terrorism and occupation, and the aid they receive from the West.

The only reason that there’s violence in Judea and Samaria is because of Arab hostility and the aid they receive from mercenaries like you.

There are calls to empower the police watchdog to require evidence of police conduct during the brutally suppressed protest against Israeli president Isaac Herzog. #sydneycriminallawyers #nswpolice #policewatchdog #brutally

If @AustralianLabor’s ostensible support for a two state solution was genuine, they’d use every diplomatic tool at their disposal — including sanctions and trade embargoes, as directed by the ICJ — to prevent one state from brazenly, relentlessly ethnically cleansing the other.
And our curtailed sanctions, such as they are, are tepid and unenforceable:
xitter.cf/altmediawatch/status/2…
There are absolutely ZERO consequences for doing a conference with someone on Australia's Sanctions list.
This is a perfect example of how @SenatorWong's sanctions against individual Israelis instead of sanctions against the Israeli government and Israeli entities are pointless.

URGENT: Since yesterday, Israeli settlers, backed by occupation forces, have been besieging a Palestinian family in Wadi al-Rakhim. Dozens are surrounding the home, trapping the family inside
This is a growing tactic used to pressure Palestinian families into leaving their homes
