Coach Kotyk said that Stevenson had a strong camp prior to his injury. He was given a 4-6 week recovery timeframe, so it looks like he is right on time with that. @SCStingrays had 3 strong games before falling apart on Saturday night. Stevenson should be a welcome addition.

First @TheAHL call up if the season for @SCStingrays is Jarid Lukosevicius who is on his way to @BellevilleSens on a PTO.

Tough break. Riley Morris was released by @SCStingrays. With Wall clearing immigration, there was a choice between the @ECHL top goalie tandem of opening weekend, Morris and Brodeur. Morris won the home opener against @NorfolkAdmirals. I can't believe he will be unemployed long.

ICYMI: @SCStingrays looking for redemption following last year's campaign. After playing spoiler to @NorfolkAdmirals home opener, it looks like they are on the right path. Now to replicate that performance at the @NChasColiseum for their home opener... fieldpasshockey.com/stingray…

After a disappointing campaign last year, @SCStingrays will be looking to make some waves in their 30th season. They have put together an experienced and deep team that will only get better as @Capitals and @TheHersheyBears get healthy. I spoke with Coach Kotyk for some insight.

Opening night roster for @SCStingrays is out. A few players on IR to start the season. Interesting goalie situation with Wall still pending immigration and Bjorklund on IR. Morris, who came to camp on PTO, could be backed up by an EBUG for opening weekend games.

As I always say, the @ECHL isn't just about developing players. Great to see another hard working @SCStingrays professional move up the affiliation ladder to @TheHersheyBears

Transactions by @SCStingrays today Released Francis Marotte, G Added to Roster Tyler Wall, G Wall spent time with @WolfPackAHL and @JaxIcemen over the past 2 years

Probably one of the most physical @SCStingrays training camps that I can remember. Everything is good natured, but you can tell guys know they have to earn a spot this year.

Players are taking the ice as @SCStingrays training camp gets underway. The Rays will be looking to build off the strong finish last year after a disappointing campaign last year.

Training camp roster announced by @SCStingrays and don't forget to add the 5 players from the @TheHersheyBears transactions today. Expect more cuts from Hershey this week to further bolster this roster. Competition will be high at this camp, especially at the forward position.

Recent @SCStingrays signing Lukosevicius in today's lineup for @TheHersheyBears Also several potential players that could make their way to Charleston on the ice.

Players given QOs by @SCStingrays – Matt Anderson, Chaz Reddekopp, Patrick Holway, Evan Wardley, Nick Isaacson, Alex Brink, Grant Cooper, Gavin Gould Players already signed did not need a QO. Some interesting names not on the list. Have they signed already? Time will tell.

O'Neil was impressive in his 10 games. 6g/4a with 4 multipoint games. He can be a game changer for @SCStingrays and they will lean on him for steady point production this coming year.

1st signing of season for @SCStingrays. Wilkins has played with former Rays Somerby at @RoadrunnersAHL and Supinski at @VasterviksIK. He is an experienced center man entering his 4th professional year. Could warrant some AHL looks as well.

Not too much to take away here from @SCStingrays. This is every non-veteran ECHL contracted player minus D Willett and recently acquired D St-Loius. Signing period opens today. QOs for unsigned players should be announced June 30th.
