The NHL makes watching its product difficult for all and impossible for many. Option doesn’t equal access, and sometimes the super rich shouldn’t be making the decisions.

To be clear, the world is keeping track of what major corporate industries bend the knee to the US’ current racist, homophobic, pedophile, bigot, sexist, failure or a human president, and our decisions on patronage won’t change just because he eventually loses power. Cowards.

Fuck @googlemaps . It’s Lake Ontario. Absolute cowards, bowing to a racist, homophobe, bigot, pedophile. SUPER leadership, Google. 👎🏼

So many people (definitely including many Americans) are completely dumbfounded with these wildfires and the smoke, wondering what has changed over the last 5-10 years. LITERALLY THE CLIMATE. THE CLIMATE HAS AND IS CHANGING. Vote better.

Forest fires really bring out a special kind of rightwing callousness and lack of education. Who’d have thought?

Offer sheet contracts need to have a ceiling of 15% of the cap. Offer sheets have their place, but a team with a bunch of space shouldn't be able to 1) handcuff another team with quite the weight they currently can, and 2) destroy reasonable salary markets.

Ultimately, an inspiring showing from this Canadian World Cup team, but man, that was a winnable game. Can’t get past the fact that some different coaching decisions may have had an impact.

You can’t, in any way, convince me of a valid reason to not have Alphonso Davies in this game by now.

If I’m the Sharks, I’m working on an 8-year, $20m per extension asap. Given what’s happening, not only will that very likely end up being a steal, they need to avoid the ANA/PHI situation.

The rising cap has really made some go crazy. Philly’s out here saying “ya, he’s worth burning a bridge, $18m a year, and 4 x 1st round picks.”

Knowing the Leafs are not "done", and adding to an off-season that already included Mckenna, other solid draft selections, Raddysh, and Bobrovsky offering dependability between the pipes, Chayka effectively rebuilt our bottom 6 - a glaring area of need. Tidy, efficient work.

People complaining about the Leafs signings today forget the cap isn’t $60m anymore.

Is Werenski worth more than Knies? Sure, yes, absolutely, but for every fan overvaluing Knies in a mock trade, there’s one concocting the type of package for Werenski that you’d expect to pay for a 23 year old McDavid with 7 years left on his contract. It goes both ways.

If I had to put money on it, I think the Leafs pick Mckenna, keep Knies, potentially trade Carlo for picks, move Rielly in the summer when they've had more time to develop a deal, they sign Jenner, Mantha, and Ferraro on July 1st.

To me, there seems to be a mutually beneficial solution to what each team needs between Toronto and Anaheim. Rielly++ for McTavish?

Considering the Leafs' head coaching hire is, at the very least, defendable, ya'll need to chill the f out. There are lots of things to be worried about or to scrutinize, but this isn't one of them.

Hamilton Hammers? Why do teams always go with dumbest names?

Are Leafs fans ridiculous? Absolutely. But are sourpuss, crybaby, “everything’s rigged”, “it won’t help them be less horrible!” fans of other teams even worse? Definitely. You inferiority complex dorks need to get another hobby. Bellyaching on tiktok and twitter is sad.

George Parros: “No, no, no, literally everyone. You are incorrect. I am, in fact, good at my job. Stop, repeatedly and emphatically questioning my indecipherable judgement. Peace!”

Ya, that’s a fire-able day for Brad Treliving.
