2026 is the year of the #FOSS Creator. Between AI-scraping terms of service and rising subscription costs, proprietary creative suites are becoming a liability. Great breakdown here: fossadmin.com/blog/2026-03-0… #OpenSource #SelfHosting #Privacy #Linux #CreativeTech

Is self-hosting a good fit? | FOSSadmin

Running a service yourself means taking responsibility for it. The question is whether that responsibility suits your needs.

Windows 10 ends soon. Microsoft wants you to buy new hardware for Win11. Better idea: Install Linux instead. ✅ Runs on your current PC ✅ Completely free ✅ Respects your privacy Your computer isn't obsolete. Windows 10 is. #Linux #Windows10EOL #OpenSource

Stop waiting for the perfect moment to start. Perfect is the enemy of shipped. Do the messy thing. Make the bad art. Write the janky code. You can always refactor later, but you can't refactor what doesn't exist.

Big Tech's business model: Keep you dependent, harvest your data, control your experience. Open source model: Give you the tools and let you decide.

If spending #Bitcoin that you've held for several years incurs a capital gain, shouldn't spending $USD that you've held for almost any length of time create a capital loss? 🤔 😉

BTCPay Server
@BtcpayServer20 Dec 2022
🚨PSA - BTCPay Server does NOT have a coin. 🚨 Our project is not affiliated with a coin called $btcpay in any way. 💩 If someone is claiming otherwise, they are most likely trying to scam you. Stay humble, stack sats, #bitcoin.

Is this the first time that a bankman gets arrested? What a historical event!
A #Monero version of lightsats.com would be awesome! #XMR
Would be nice to have an on-chain version of lightsats.com to orange pill pre-coiners. I don't feel comfortable recommending lightning wallets to newbies. #Bitcoin is much safer on-chain

If you're thinking about getting a @Puri_sm Librem Mini, you can save $200 by buying an Embassy Pro from @start9labs ... Not sure what the catch is but seems legit.
